There is also more archery, athletics and boxing, besides also featuring the last pool match for the free-scoring Indian men's hockey team (56 goals scored, three conceded) against Sri Lanka.

Here's what to watch out for (all timings in IST):

Sindhu chases the big one

PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal will stand together on the podium on Tuesday, the first time that two Indians will win individual badminton medals at the Asian Games, but it will be up to Sindhu to make it gold for India by pulling off a big win against top seed and World No. 1 Tai Tzu Ying of Chinese Taipei. This will be just the third women's singles final at the Asian Games to not feature a Chinese player, and Tai will have the extra motivation of improving on her bronze from Incheon four years ago. Sindhu who was taken to three games in three of her last four matches, will have her task cut out for her against Tai, who leads their head-to-head 9-3.

Women's singles final: 10:30 AM onwards

Archers take on world's best for gold

India's compound archery teams have done their bit, beating Chinese Taipei in exciting semifinal clashes in both the men's and women's draws. On Tuesday, Abhishek Verma leads the men out against South Korea, and Jyothi Surekha Vennam's team also face the same opposition in the women's final. The Korean team - men and women - are the best in the world, and India have to be at their best, and then some. in order to win gold.

Can equestrian build on weekend success?

India had a rare double in equestrian over the weekend, with Fouaad Mirza winning an eventing silver and also featuring in the team silver for the same competition. Tuesday sees the jumping team final, with the qualifiers earlier in the day. Can India's team of Kaevaan Setalvad, Zahan Setalvad and Chetan Reddy break what has been a middle-east Asian hegemony in jumping in recent years, with Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait and Iran dominating standings since introduction in 1986?
