12 Number of sixes hit by Josh Brown during his knock against Adelaide Strikers are the most by any batter in a BBL innings. Chris Gayle, Craig Simmons, and Chris Lynn (two instances) jointly held the record previously by hitting 11 sixes.

3 Brown's 140 against Strikers is the third-highest individual score in the BBL, behind 154* by Glenn Maxwell against Hobart Hurricanes in 2021-22 and 147* by Marcus Stoinis against Sydney Sixers in 2019-20.

Brown's 140 is also the highest score in a playoff match in the BBL, bettering Jake Weatherald's 115 against the Hurricanes in the 2017-18 season finale.

112 Boundary runs scored by Brown during his 140 are the joint-most for any batter in a BBL innings. He has equalled Maxwell, who also had 112 runs off boundaries during his 154*, with 22 fours and four sixes.

41 Balls needed for Brown to complete his century, making it the joint-second fastest century. Simmons' 39-ball hundred against Strikers in 2013-14 is still the quickest, while Maxwell also had a 41-ball ton against Hurricanes in 2021-22.

2 Individual scores higher than Brown's 140 in T20 playoff matches. Chris Gayle's 146* for Rangpur Riders and Tamim Iqbal's 141* for Comilla Victorians are higher than Brown's, both scored in successive BPL finals (2017-18 and 2018-19) against Dhaka Dynamites.

82 Runs scored by Brown in front of square, off 26 shots he attempted. It also included four fours and eight sixes. Only one batter scored more runs in a men's T20 through those regions - 83 by Ben McDermott during his 127 against Renegades in 2021-22 (Where ESPNcricinfo's ball-by-ball logs are available).

214/7 Brisbane Heat's total against Strikers is the highest by any team in the BBL playoffs. They bettered Hobart Hurricanes' 210 for 4 against Scorchers in the semi-final of the 2017-18 season.

65.42 Percentage of Heat's total scored by Brown. It is the fourth-highest contribution towards a completed BBL innings and the highest for Brisbane Heat. The previous highest for the team was 64.1 by Lynn, who scored an unbeaten 75 out of 117 against Scorchers in 2015-16.
