9 Asad Shafiq's Test hundreds at No. 6 - the most by any batsman, passing Garry Sobers' tally of eight. In terms of Test runs at No. 6, Shafiq is fifth on the list.

1 Shafiq's 100 not out at the Gabba was his first century in the fourth innings of Tests. He had two fourth-innings fifties previously - 80 in Galle in 2012 and 56 in Johannesburg in 2012-13. Before this performance, he had averaged only 8.28 in his last seven innings, which included three ducks.

382 Pakistan equalled their previous best fourth-innings total - 382 for 3 while chasing 377 in Pallekele in 2015. They are set to break that record on the fifth day at the Gabba. Pakistan are the only side to make two 350-plus totals in chases this decade.

370 The previous highest fourth-innings total at the Gabba, by England in 2006-07. Pakistan set a new record at the venue. The highest target successfully chased at the Gabba is only 236, by Australia against West Indies in 1951-52. No visiting team has chased down more than 200 here.

The only other time in the last 25 years that they batted more than 100 overs in the fourth innings outside Asia was in Johannesburg in 2012-13. The longest they have batted in a chase outside Asia is 137.5 overs at MCG in 1989-90.

55.42 Younis Khan's average in the fourth innings of Tests - the third best among 27 batsmen with 1000-plus runs in the fourth innings. Younis' 65 in this innings was only his third half-century when chasing in Tests outside the subcontinent.

1 Number of Pakistan batsmen who average over 50 in Tests this year - Azhar Ali, 52.77. The next best is Sami Aslam with 40.46. Azhar's 71 in the chase at the Gabba is his second consecutive fifty in the fourth innings, after the 58 in Hamilton in Pakistan's previous Test.
