Scorer: Chandan Duorah | Commentator: Rvel Zahid

The night belongs to Khawaja Nafay who guided his team to the doorstep of victory with a composed half-century. In the first game of the PSL, he played like a veteran. There was a slight wobble in the chase, but Nafay made sure there were no hiccups and dominated the entire bowling attack. It's always heartening to see young talent getting opportunities and making the most of them. A sublime match-winning knock from the 22-year-old helped Quetta Gladiators win their second match in a row. Lahore Qalandars' big guns are not looking on top of their game, and the spin attack isn't their strongest suit either. The fielding was scruffy and some catches were dropped which is an area of concern. Let's see how they respond after second loss on the trot. Props to Jahandad Khan who made a brisk 45 off 17 balls on his PSL debut earlier after Sahibzada Farhan's blazing half-century at the top as the two top-scorers for Lahore pushed the total to 187. Not playing a regular keeper seemed an ill-conceived move. Hope you enjoyed our coverage. For now, from Chandar Duorah and myself Rvel Zahid, goodbye and goodnight!

Khawaja Nafay, Player of the Match: I had set my mind on winning the game for my side. I was looking at the scoreboard and batting accordingly, I enjoy pace and spin both and have practiced a lot. I'd like to thank my coaches and dedicate my award to them.

Shaheen Afridi: We must improve our fielding. We are leaking boundaries and dropping catches easily. I also came from PSL as an emerging player and Nafay has played brilliantly. I think he played beautifully and has got a bright future. Haris Rauf is a strong player and always think positively. I hope he backs himself and I'm sure he'll perform well.

Rilee Rossouw: Mr Nafay played the innings of an unbelievable note, Saud Shakeel as well. I'm loving the competitiveness, loving the challenge, so far so good. It's fantastic to be back to Quetta; the vibe they give to youngsters is phenomenal.

Haris: "Look at the gladiator's worm rate, PERFECTION !"

GormintAunty: "Khwaja All Klass.."

Tahir: "Khawaja pure beauty shabash"

Hamza: "As a Lahore fan, I am still glad that a talent such as Khawaja Nafay has gotten a chance to showcase himself. Good for Pakistani cricket."

Faizan Ahmed: "Nafay's first 6 off Haris Rauf showed his class and potential. Boy started with a banger and never look back. Real mature innings."
