5:03pm Thanks for joining us for the coverage of this match. Today's second fixture will be underway soon. Join us there.

Tamim: When the score is 120-130 I get really nervous. These kind of games you never know what happens. But we came back strongly and didn't give any runs in the last five overs. And we took wickets. Hasan Ali is a great asset for us - five wickets and all bowled.

Shakib: We should have scored at least 150 after being 80 for 2 and that cost us the game. But pleased with how we fought back and showed character. Defending 128 on this track was not easy. We were almost there. Sunil for the last 5-6 years, all over the worled he's been great. There are plenty of games left and we're still in the top two. Hopefully we can take the momentum.

Hasan Ali: This is my best figures in T20 so I'm very happy. I've been playing for 14-15 months and I have no problem with my rhythm.

Hasan Ali is the Player of the Match.

sadiq: "Very mature and calculated inning from Shoaib Malik"

Juma Hamdard: "Poor batting by DD, but rather poor batting by CV, this was only the bowling strength of CV to win this match"

Ohid: "Trust on Experience paid back in full..... Journey accomplished"

junaid khan: "its all about one man nerve and experience well done malik "

4:50pm Comilla did so well to make this chase easy for themselves, before completely flipping the script and making it much, much harder. Some poor shots throughout this innings, not least from captain Tamim Iqbal. Then, they dug themselves into a hole in the middle overs and wickets started falling around Malik who kept his slow pace going. In the end, that's the man to do it - timed it perfectly, in retrospect. Had the confidence to set his own pace in the 19th over, and then by the narrowest of margins, managed to squeeze out the victory. Superb batting.

Mohammad Saddam to Shoaib Malik, 1 run, and that's it. Short ball outside off. Wants to club the pull shot wide of mid-on, but he only manages to drag this into the turf off the under-edge. Into the leg side and midwicket is deep enough for them to steal the single

Mohammad Saddam to Shoaib Malik, FOUR, how has that missed?! Malik survives by the smallest margin and brings up his fifty. What a ball. It's a vicious inswinger that's headed for leg stump. It's an ugly hoick from Malik. The ball is inches from his back knee when he gets an inside edge that goes between his legs and down to the fine leg boundary

Mohammad Saddam to Shoaib Malik, no run, oh dear. He refuses the single. Full and in at leg stump. Flicks it to deep midwicket and sends Mahedi back

Mohammad Saddam to Shoaib Malik, FOUR, and he gives him the cut! Oh that's poor bowling. Short and wide. You can see the excitement as Malik moves. Throws everything he has at that cut and slices it to the boundary

Point and third man are in.

END OF OVER:
19 | 5 Runs | CV: 120/6 (9 runs required from 6 balls, RR: 6.31, RRR: 9.00)

  • Shoaib Malik45 (49b)
  • Mahedi Hasan3 (5b)
  • Sunil Narine4-0-17-2
  • Saddam Hossain3-0-27-1

That's Narine out of the way. Malik has backed himself to get 9 in the last over. And it appears Saddam, who had marked his run up, had been the subject of a change in mind from Shakib. Pollard looked set to bowl, but they've persisted. Pollard's going down to long-on. Saddam will bowl.

Narine to Shoaib Malik, 1 run, back of a length at off stump, backs away and bunts it into the point region with soft hands

Last ball from Narine. Dhaka would love for Malik not to be around for the final over...

Narine to Mahedi Hasan, 1 run, good length at off stump, steps out and pokes it through square leg

11 off 8. Two balls left from Narine.
