Hopes carries Queensland to easy win

New South Wales Blues crumbled to an eight-wicket loss to Queensland Bulls in Sydney, failing in their bid to host the Big Bash preliminary final

Match Centre

Well that's it, an easy win to the Bulls over a disappointing NSW outfit. The first ball of the match set the tone, with Hopes taking a wicket that started the Blues downfall. 120 never looked enough and Man of the Match James Hopes made light work of the run chase, racking up another half century as the Bulls got home by 8 wickets. The Preliminary Final will be played in Tasmania between the Tigers and the Blues on Tuesday, February 1st. Until then, good night.
