Excellent game of cricket that ends with Amazon Warriors continuing their winning streak. Knight Riders will be back tomorrow trying to get one up over Barbados Royals. And I will be back to bring to you all the updates from the game. Till then, this is Ashish Pant, signing off on behalf of Binoy George. Ciao!
Imran Tahir: Fantastic game. Happy to be on the winning side. Boys played very well. We wanted to improve ourselves from the previous game. The openers did a great job. He [Ayub] is talented and that's why we got him. He did really well. Nice to get him some big runs. Shai is the best player in world cricket at the moment. And he showed why. He [Azam Khan] is very energetic and he takes some great catches. Great victory in front of such a big crowd.
Kieron Pollard: You try different things, Akeal did a fantastic job. We know his capabilities and he played a fantastic innings. Not concerned, one loss is not going to make us concerned. Nothing is a concern. These guys are great. It's a hectic week for us, we can't cry and lick our wounds. Just have to come back. Couldn't get over the line. It is about understanding where we are as a team. We will come back in less than 24 hours and hope to get better.
Saim Ayub is the Player of the Match: I am enjoying because the team environment is very good. All our friendly, Caribbean environment is great. I just try to enjoy every bit of my cricket. The batters were great. The team is believing in me and this is just the start. I have learnt a lot from him [Shai Hope]. That partnership was crucial.
10.40pm Guyana Amazon Warriors make it four out of four and move to the top of the table with a confident six-wicket win. The win was set-up by the second-wicket stand of 93 off 67 between Saim Ayub and Shai Hope. Ayub, in particular, deserves special praise. He slammed 62 off 43 with four fours and four sixes, while Hope did his bit with a 40-ball 51. Azam Khan then finished things spanking an unbeaten 29 off 14. There were plenty of dropped catches from TKR who weren't up to their best today. GAW remain the only unbeaten team in the tournament.
Afeef: "TKR shouldn't have lost this match, especially at their home ground. GAW are just on fire."
Equation: GAW need four to seal the deal. But funnier things have happened in T20 cricket. Can TKR pull a rabbit out of the hat? Azam will want to finish things off first ball. Russell time
