Scorer: Chandan Duorah | Commentator: Varun Shetty

1.50pm And with that, we close our coverage from the first game. Guyana Amazon Warriors vs Jamaica Tallawahs coming up in 40 minutes - it will be THE defining game of the season. Don't forget to tune in there. It's goodbye from here.

Jason Holder: Perfect game, I guess. Boys really stepped up today. I think the wicket today was really good. I think it's a pitch where you're never quite sure what is a par score. Lots of positives to take for us from the season. Everyone had spurts, but collectively not quite good enough.

Andre Fletcher: I think it was a very good total. It's just that we didn't execute as well as we had to. Kyle played very well. We wanted the right hander to hit into the breeze and take it away from Kyle, but unfortunately we didn't execute well and that's why we didn't win. Just hoping that Guyana beat Jamaica. [Andy Flower] talked of a good fight despite the defeat.

Kyle Mayers: Came together great today. Got an opportunity to bowl at the end of the innings and I really enjoyed the opportunity. It was a great partnership, great understanding between me and Glenn. We kept our cool in the middle. Wanted to finish the game off in the penultimate over and we managed it. I think my favourite shot was the reverse sweep - the coach and captain came out in the break and told me to attempt it, it was good when it came off.

Kyle Mayers is the Player of the Match.

1.36pm This is a massive blow to St Lucia Kings. They stay in fourth place for the moment, but their fate will be decided by the next game. Which means a few very nervous hours coming up for them. As things stand, Jamaica Tallawahs will go through at the expense of Kings if they manage to beat Amazon Warriors in the game coming up. Only if they manage to do it with a big margin to dent Amazon Warriors' NRR will the Kings still be in with a chance. And that has come down to a thunderous partnership of 154 in 13.3 overs between Kyle Mayers and Glenn Phillips. Mayers wasn't quite at his best for most of his innings, but managed to find a way when it mattered. Phillips was simply flawless today, after bagging a golden duck yesterday. And it was really him who change the course of this chase after Kings had threatened to tie the Royals down. A 39-ball 80, a top, top innings.

Joseph to Phillips, 1 run, full toss at off stump, punches it to deep point's right to seal the win

Joseph to Phillips, SIX, and now he clears long-on! Scores level. Joseph looks for the yorker again, it's a low full toss at off stump. Phillips stands tall and swings cleanly across the line to beat the fielder's jump

Nathan: "If BR finish this in the penultimate over the Kings are going to take another massive hit on their run rate"

Joseph to Phillips, SIX, scythed over backward point this time! Joseph goes length after nailing a yorker previously. Phillips gets room to chuck his hands at that and it carries all the way
18.2

Joseph to Phillips, no run, wide yorker outside off as he has a chop at this, beaten

Joseph to Phillips, SIX, misses on the yorker and Phillips punishes him! So important to get a boundary early in the over in such situations, and he's not missed out on the opportunity. Full and in at off stump, driving length, and he clears the front leg and offers the full face to punch this over the fielder at long-off

END OF OVER:

Looked very much like they wanted to play Wahab out that over. It was a good one. Only seven off it. 19 needed off 12. Alzarri Joseph will bowl the penultimate over.
