Scorer: Ranjith P | Commentator: S. Sudarshanan

6:30pm That's it from this first match of the double-header Saturday. South Africa are on the board with a couple of points whjile Australia and England are fighting it out in their opener. There are a couple of men's Tests in progress for you to track: India vs Sri Lanka here while Pakistan-Australia attritional one here. And ESPNcricinfo also have a live blog on the massive tragedy that is Shane Warne's shock demise. On that note, it is time for me, S. Sudarshanan, to take your leave for today on behalf of our scorer Ranjith and my co-commentator Srivathsa. Till the next time, take care. Stay safe!

Sune Luus Some nervous moments (with 207 on the board) but we have some exceptional bowlers. We are proud of Ayabonga Khaka, she is our golden arm at the moment. Ismail, Kapp and Khaka complemented each other. We never really got a start with the bat. The way Kapp and Tryon batted to get us over 200 was brilliant. We are going to get bigger scores in the next games. "Take the points and get going," was Kapp's message to the team after the game. Hopefully Lizelle Lee is back for us in the next game.

Nigar Sultana Joty The injury still hurts, didn't feel anything during the match, should be fine tomorrow. It was our best opportunity to win if we had done well in the batting. Our openers had a great start but we lost many wickets in the middle overs. I thought we needed a good partnership till the 45th over. Ritu Moni and I had a chat that if we can play till the end the result would be different. We are here to cheer our fans, who are waiting for a win. We are not going to disappoint them in the next match.

Ayabonga Khaka is the player of the match for her four wickets. "I didn't think much and took them as they came. I take it day by day and don't stress on the past. We couldn't wait to go in the middle and do the job for the team and we did it. I stick to my lines and lengths and it worked. Just follow your heart and you'll do well. Bangladesh played well, bowled well as a unit to put us under pressure."

Khaka and an economical Chloe Tryon strangled Bangladesh in the middle phase, where they lost six wickets to hold the grip of the game. A 53-run seventh-wicket stand raised hopes of an upset but it was put to bed by Shabnim Ismail. Marizanne Kapp was fuming when they were bowled out for 207, and now is seen sharing a few words with the team. Pumped up for sure, is the senior pro.

6:12pmIt's is business as usual for South Africa, whose bowlers led by Ayabonga Khaka's four struck regularly to ensure a winning start for them in this Women's World Cup. She struck regularly at a time when Bangladesh had a good start, courtesy the record 69-run opening partnership. That was a different time and the period since that drinks break for an altogether different one.

Kapp to Fariha Trisna, OUT, Castled! It's all over. Bangladesh have been bowled out for 175. Full and speared on the pads. Trisna missed the flick, the ball deflected on to the stumps off the back pad.
