0.5 This was almost like Jayasuriya being dismissed at deep backward point when Ian Botham questioned the field placement. But this was rational from Lancs, they had the man there, Wood bowled full and wide accordingly. Lyth scythed it but found the man, who ran to his left and took it low down, juggled a bit but finished safely. A roar followed from the crowd. 8/1

6.4 Knocked him over! Parkinson sticks to his slow, full plan; aims and connects with the stumps. Malan made room and tried to loft it over cover with an open bat-face. He stayed in the crease to avoid being stumped but he looked to be too quick on the shot. He missed and Parkinson is chuffed. 69/2
14.1 Huge wicket! Wells makes a hash of Kohler-Cadmore's woodwork! Throws his head back in disbelief for having missed a tossed up ball. Looks to tonk it over mid-on and misses it altogether. 124/4
9.2 Dragged on! Huge cheers from the keeper, the bowler's thrilled as well! It was a leggie, pitched on a good length just outside off. Brook tried to play it straight but it was a bit too close to the body, took the edge, went low and back on to the stumps. 84/3
19.1 Juggles and takes it safely, Hartley! Low full toss on leg, Shadab gets inside the line and flicks it. Straight to deep square leg. 198/6
18.6 Bounced out! Not before his terrific antics, though. Gleeson has the last laugh but Thompson sure has done his thing. A fast bouncer on leg, rises quickly on him and he pulls it straight to the man at deep backward square leg. Walks back to a warm ovation. 198/5

19.2 Two-in-two for Lamb! Full and straight, the you-miss-and-I-hit kind. Waits has an almighty swing and misses. Rattled. 198/7

2.5 Edged to the keeper! The 26-run over now has a wicket. Revis pulled the lack, short of good length, and it was in the channel. Salt tried to cut it but it was too close, the thin-edge found the keeper. 44/1
16.1 Straight up in the air and Jennings is out of Edgbaston for now! Fuller length slower delivery, Jennings looks to downtown. Only manages to spew it to Brook at long-off. Raises his bat as he walks back. 181/3
4.5 Walloped... straight to mid-off! It was still in Slotsville, says Simon Doull, and Croft drove it hard and flat. It went to the Brook's bread basket 69/2

18.1 Oh, my, word! Would you believe it? A juicy full toss has been swiped straight to deep backward square leg. But hold on... they are checking for the height but it is well dipping. End of David's stay in the middle. Anticlimax! 201/4
