1.2 Sakariya, too, strikes in his first over. This is terrific delivery from him. On a length, pitches on off and then swerves away outside off to square up the debutant. Gupta jabs at it and sends an edge that carries to first slip. This is some start from Saurashtra's new-ball bowlers 1/2
0.5 another sharp inswinger from Unadkat, this pops up to short leg. Unadkat marks his return in the final with a first-over strike. On a length, moves back in against the angle from left-arm over. Easwaran prods at it off the front foot and offers a bat-pad catch to Gohil. The ball lobs up to Gohil 1/1
1.4 What a double-strike from Sakariya. He wheels away in celebration. Gharami offers no shot, the ball nips back in against the angle and thuds into off stump. Gharami was letting this go, thinking it would move away from him with the angle, but Sakariya has other plans. Bengal are 2 for 3 inside 2 overs 2/3
13 Jani leaves Bengal five down and sinking. Hint of extra bounce from a length outside off. Majumdar loses his patience and flashes at the ball. He nicks it behind to the keeper, and that's drinks in Kolkata 34/5
4.5 This new-ball spell is another statement from Unadkat. He switches his angle of attack. Full and threatens to angle in from round the stumps, but leaves Tiwary late. He pushes away from the body and sends a thickish outside edge to gully where V Jadeja snags a sharp, low catch 17/4
21.4 Sakariya belts out a big roar. The pitch has flattened out. Sakariya runs in hard and hits the pitch harder. Sharp bouncer on off or just a shade outside off, Ghatak is surprised by it. He flaps a weak pull to Unadkat 65/6
51 appeal for caught at short leg, given out, another review from the batter! Full around leg, going past the batter's glove before hitting his pad. Ball lops up and short leg - under the helmet - takes a simple catch. Shahbaz believes there's no glove - what does Ultra Edge say? There's a faint spike, so looks like Shahbaz will have to go for 69. Bengal lose a review, but most importantly, lose their best batter. 166/7
53.5 short of a good length delivery outside the off stump. One would say that it wasn't wide enough to go for the punch. He does and gets an outside edge to the first slip. Prerak Mankad moves to his right and takes a good catch. Abishek is disappointed with the stroke he played as he hits his pad with the bat multiple times on the way back 174/9
52.2 doesn't take Jadeja long to take the wicket! Looped up, on a length and seemed a bit slower. Akash Deep was targeting the long on boundary once again, but he was done in the flight and ends up lobbing it to mid on where Unadkat takes the catch. He is shocked at what he has done. He takes some time to walk off the pitch, back to the pavilion 172/8
54.1 length delivery on the stumps. It looked as if the batter, Mukesh Kumar, was expecting a short delivery. Having been caught on the wrong foot, he had to play the delivery as it was on the line of the stumps. He looks to flick it and gets a leading edge back to Unadkat. He takes the catch and has a smile as he hands over the ball to the umpire. 174/10

25.3 kept troubling him with away-going deliveries but surprises him with the nip-backer that hits Harvik low on the pad. No hesitation from the umpire. Harvik knew he was a dead duck as soon as he was struck on the pad. No bat involved, simple decision. 101/3
6.1 and gets a wicket with the first delivery! Wide outside the off stump. Nothing too different from the way he bowled in the previous overs. This time, though, Jay is moving towards the line of the delivery and looking at the length, he is looking to let it go. Was he a little late? He ends up chopping it on to the stumps 38/1
15.2 There's the second wicket! Length delivery outside the off stump. A hint of a movement away after pitching. Vishvaraj Jadeja looks to defend it. An indication of him being unsure about his off stump perhaps. He gets a faint edge back to the keeper and the catch is taken. Mukesh Kumar celebrates with his teammates and walks away from the group to vent out his frustration 73/2
30.4 knocks him over! Super delivery from Porel that hits top of off. Sakariya plays down the wrong line as this hits the seam and moves away to beat the outside edge and crash into the stumps. Bengal are fighting back 109/4
58 the short ball strategy works, Porel gets the big wicket of Jackson! He doesn't leave this short ball, goes for the pull which leads to a top edge and long leg takes a few steps back to get under it. Gone or 59, Jackson is taking a really slow walk back to the pavilion 204/5
87.5 wicket early and it's a massive one! Mukesh gets this to nip away off a length from outside off, Vasavada goes chasing at that delivery and ends up getting a thin edge through to the wicketkeeper. 318/6
96 it's that dangerous late away movement that does the trick again for Mukesh. Superb seam position, minute movement off the deck from middle and off, Jani's bat face is closed as he tries to work it to the leg side but ends up getting a thin edge that's gleefully accepted. Super stuff from Mukesh 343/7
102.2 off the glove and lobs to the keeper! Mankad is taken aback by the bounce on this delivery and decides to let it go but the ball cuts back in a long way to thud into the glove as he didn't drop his wrists, good catch by Abishek Porel. 369/9
100.1 this is a peach from Akash, not much Unadkat could've done. Pitched up, moves away a hint and Unadkat's nibble leads to the thinnest of edges. All said, he had to play at that delivery. 358/8

110 sharp catch at short leg, that surely is the ends of the innings. This is a good bouncer on the body from Porel, Jadeja is caught off guard as he fends. He's surprised by the pace at which this comes. The ball lobs off the glove to Kazi who rises with the bounce and takes it instinctively. Fingers are completely underneath the ball so the soft signal of out will stay out. That is the end of Saurashtra's innings, but not before they've put themselves in pole position of winning their second Ranji final in three seasons. 404/10

1.4 edged and gone! That's a forgettable debut for Sumata Gupta. Squared up by the length, he pokes at that with hard hands and the thick edge flies to Prerak Mankad who makes no mistake at second slip. 1/1
7.3 Edged and snapped up by the keeper! Huge wicket that of Easwaran and Bengal certainly in more than a spot of bother now. Sakaraiya gets the length ball to shape away from the batter, who follows the ball and can only get a thick edge to the keeper. The Saurashtra players are pumped up and why not! 22/2
15.4 Gharami departs and Unadkat is pumped! Oh, he really is! What a peach of a delivery. Pacy, bouncy length ball on off. Gharami pushes at it with hard hands, gets a thick outside edge that is comfortably taken at second slip. What a bowler! 47/3
43 Unadkat does it again.. fuller on off stump, goes for a drive and catches the outside edge, man at gully takes a dolly. Important breakthrough and the stand on 99 comes to an end 146/4
61 oh, dear, the end is nigh! Tiwary is out poking one to gully. Didn't really need to play at that but ended up giving catching practice. 198/6
58.2 hara-kiri, absolute hara-kiri, and it's a blow that may have just crushed Bengal's hopes! Tiwary flicked that uppishly and nearly into the gap at midwicket and completed two. Shahbaz, the more adventurous, saw the possibility of a third but stopped as he turned, and then ran a bit only to see Tiwary stop. The moment he did that, he knew Shahbaz had been sold down the river. Both batters were stranded at one end as the throw came in and Unadkat delightfully removed the bails. Tiwary is distraught. 194/5
61.4 pulled straight down the throat of Dharmendra Jadeja at deep square. The fielder was set there for a trap after three full deliveries. Porel saw this was an opportunity to pick runs the moment Sakariya dropped short, and found the fielder who didn't have to move an inch. 198/7
64.3 the middle stump is flattened and Unadkat takes a five-for. Roars in jubilation. What a hero. This one bends back in from around the stumps and snakes through the gap between bat and pad to flatten the stumps. What a bowler, what a delivery. What a performance. 205/9
62.1 It's the late inward movement from Unadkat that has done the trick yet again. Akash is beaten on the inside edge as this ball hits him on top of the pad. The only thing that could've saved him was an inside-edge. 200/8

70.4 that's the end of that. Porel steps out to swing this into the leg side but misses and the off-stump is flattened. Unadkat walks off with a six-for and fittingly leads his team off the field. What a lion-hearted performance yet again. He's given the match ball to, one we will all surely get a closer look on Twitter. Saurashtra need 12 to win. Sheldon Jackson began celebrating and tried to run up to pick the stump, but was told to stop because they still have to come out and knock off a few runs. 241/10
