11.45pm: That is a wrap for the proceedings from Visakhapatnam, thanks as ever for joining us and getting involved in the comments. Shashank Kishore's report is in the slot, we'll be back for more tomorrow with winless Mumbai Indians taking on in-form Rajasthan Royals. Until then, cheerio!

11.40pm: Time for some presentations... starting with DC captain Rishabh Pant: "The bowlers were clinical, we talked about learning from mistakes. [Shaw opening] He's been working hard, we thought time to give him his chance and he took it. [Mukesh] Depends on the match-ups but he stands up [at the death], came back well today despite being hit. Took my time initially because I haven;t played much cricket, but I kept believing I could change the match. [Hand-off-the-bat six] One and a half years [been waiting to play], this is something I have built my life on. Still have to keep learning as a cricketer."

Khaleel Ahmed is Player of the Match: "To make the ball do what I want, I had to work very hard in the domestic season. I played quite a few games in the last six months so I feel that the more I've played, the more I've understood my own game and I am just trying to execute that."

DC's Anrich Nortje: "Felt a lot better today [after injury comeback], slowly but surely getting into things. The training is paying off. Focusing hard on where I want to land it. [Wide yorkers at death] It's something new to me, trying to execute whenever possible. [DC attack] We're building up slowly, the starts by the guys have been excellent, swinging the ball. Really exciting for me as the fourth-change bowler."

CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad: "I was pretty happy with how the bowlers came back after the first six overs, restricting them to 190 was a good effort. First innings played better for the batting side, second innings there was some seam movement. Rachin [Ravindra] was missing it by a big margin, because of the extra bounce and movement. That was the difference. At halfway I felt it was gettable, but we couldn't capitalise in the powerplay. We were always behind, trying to catch up and get the rate down. First few overs we bowled well, but the last two overs [of the powerplay] was expensive. After two wins, you can expect one below par, so not much to worry about."

11.25pm: A convincing win for Capitals, despite some MSD magic once the game was gone. Rishabh Pant is the India wicketkeeper to come out on top here, leading his team to their first points of the season - and another home win for this IPL season, despite DC's middling record in Vizag

Nortje to Dhoni, SIX, another full toss, another one dispatched, high over cover... but Delhi Capitals claim victory nevertheless, closed out by 20 runs despite a late Dhoni onslaught! DC are on the board, but so is CSK's Thala

Nortje to Dhoni, FOUR, another full toss, hoicked away over mid-on! The hair is flowing, the runs are flowing. This is a lost cause but Dhoni is doing his thing for the first time this year

Nortje to Dhoni, FOUR, full, wide and hammered! 140kph and just short of yorker length. Dhoni goes deep and belts it through cover

Nortje to close out victory for DC (barring an extraordinary implosion...)
