11.40pm A very good defence from Daredevils. Chasing a score at the Feroz Shah Kotla can always be tricky and they made it tougher and tougher, taking pace off the ball, using different lines and lengths and clinically executed.
It was a sluggish pitch, which is why you saw many balls go so high in the air. Batsmen met the ball far too early too often, and CSK just could not adjust. Amit Mishra, Sandeep Lamichhane and Trent Boult were outstanding on this pitch. It's a win Daredevils can be proud of, even if it's far too little and far too late.
Harshal Patel is the Man of the Match: "I think bowling is difficult on this pitch, especially with dew. It's just consistency, one over can lose you a game. Four-over spells more important than a 25-run cameo."
Shreyas Iyer: "We were craving for this victory. Really satisfying victory. Lived up to the expectations. Wasn't easy to bat on this wicket, Harshal delivered, that last over was very important to get us to 163 (162). We were never lacking preparations, we were just not able to execute. All three clicked together in the games that we've won."
MS Dhoni: "Wicket got more difficult in the second half. Nobody was middling it, the bowlers bowled well. Difficult to predict how this pitch will behave. You have to be very practical about why something went wrong. We know the reasons. It's important not to look at the points table. The middle order can also get a partnership. Anyone can get an opportunity. Need to be mentally prepared, more than physical. You can give 100 different plans to the bowlers, but sometimes you have to shuffle the bowlers."
Sandeep Lamichhane: "It was slightly skiddy, the way every player contributed, it helped me. They were well set, and I was trying to bowl my best balls."
Smiles for Daredevils, glum CSK faces. Who is second on the table and who is last?

Just formalities to complete then. CSK need 39 off 6.
