That's a wrap of this game. Deiva's report will be up shortly in case you missed the important parts of the game. Over to RCB v KKR now, where the home team are without AB de Villiers and have been asked to bat. See you all later.

Presentation time.

Kane Williamson is Man of the Match. "We had a good start. The surface was on the slow side, and there was not much bounce. I thought the way they bowled the short ball was pretty good, and it's something we wanted to do in our bowling innings. It was nice to get that dismissal early. Yusuf's wicket was lucky, but it was a good wicket at that stage because Stokes is a dangerous player. We didn't get the 10-15 more on a challenging surface, but it was an improvement nevertheless. Twenty20 is unpredictable in nature and it's nice to get a few wins on the board. Alex is world-class in this format. He made a very good contribution today."

7.26pm SRH have done it again. For the third time in the last week, their batting has underwhelmed but their bowlers have bailed them out. This is easily the strongest attack in the tournament. Ajinkya Rahane can't get the job done, and you can't help but wonder it he left it all a little too late. Rahane isn't blessed with the same kind of hitting prowess as Dhoni or Kohli, so waiting until the last hour to accelerate could be a risky proposition with him. Brilliant spells by Sandeep Sharma and Siddarth Kaul, and Basil Thampi did well in that last over, too, after starting off badly. Until Sanju Samson was there with Rahane, it seemed like Sunrisers had this all figured out. And then, they lost it towards the end. Rahane's struggles to put the balls away were hard to watch. Important not to forget the brilliant contribution of Kane Williamson who propelled their batting effort on a slow pitch with a rapid half-century.

Jon Snow: "RR doesn't look like the team to win at all. Horrible Catching (this time no excuse of catching under lights too) and all international players (except Archer) have performed poorly. Why would you send Lomror ahead of big hitting Gowtham when you have to chase more than 11 runs per over?"

Sooryanarayanan: "Sunrisers are the Sun-setters for opposition batsmen. And to think that Bhuvi is set to make a comeback soon."

Stat nugget from Bharath Seervi: Rahane is the first opener to have two unbeaten 50s in unsuccessful chases in IPL. He had scored 84* off 63 v DD in a chase of 153 and lost by 1 run in 2012, and 65* off 53 today. Fourth batsman overall with two unbeaten 50s in unsuccessful chases -- Dhoni, Miller and Morris are the others; all the three bat in lower order.

19.6
1
Basil Thampi to Archer, 1 run, all over. A fuller one that curves in and Archer whips it away off the pads to deep midwicket
19.5
W
Basil Thampi to Gowtham, OUT, gone. Gowtham has picked out long-off and that's the game. Fails to get hold of this fullish ball. Doesn't help that it's curving into him and he doesn't get the room he's looking for as a result. Chips it straight into the hands of long-off

K Gowtham c Dhawan b Basil Thampi 8 (5b 1x4 0x6) SR: 160.00

19.4
2
Basil Thampi to Gowtham, 2 runs, low dipping full toss on middle, Gowtham shovels it straight back and long-on ad long-off converge. The latter slides across and stretches full tilt to pull it back

RR losing it here. Shane Warne has a glum expression at the dugout.

19.3
1
Basil Thampi to Rahane, 1 run, low full toss outside off, Rahane mistimes his punch straight back at the bowler who gets a hand to it
19.2
1
Basil Thampi to Gowtham, 1 run, extremely full outside off again, and Gowtham can only squeeze it out to extra cover. They take the single
19.1
4
Basil Thampi to Gowtham, FOUR, good delivery but an equally good shot from Gowtham. A full one, tailing in late into Gowtham. Nearly a yorker but not quite. Gowtham manages to get underneath it and whips it off the toes through square leg

Thampi. He has 20 to defend.

END OF OVER:
19 | 6 Runs 1 Wkt | RR: 131/5 (21 runs required from 6 balls, RR: 6.89, RRR: 21.00)

  • Ajinkya Rahane64 (52b)
  • Krishnappa Gowtham1 (1b)
  • Siddarth Kaul4-0-23-2
  • Rashid Khan4-0-31-1

SRH's fielding in that over could just be what wins this for them. Brilliant stuff.

18.6
0
Kaul to Rahane, no run, slower length ball, keeps a little low outside off and Rahane pulls and the ball sneaks from underneath the bat
18.5
2
Kaul to Rahane, 2 runs, walks across early for a paddle and sees this length ball outside off and slaps it through point instead. Shakib runs to his left and sticks the boot out to stop it before the boundary

Mounika: "There should really be an award for excellent fielding as well! Pandey this season has been terrific"

18.4
1
Kaul to Gowtham, 1 run, just back of a length, Gowtham walks across and whips it through backward square leg

Debaroop: "SRH = The Atletico Madrid of the IPL....master defenders :D"

18.3
W
Kaul to Lomror, OUT, brilliant catch by Saha! Another wide fuller one, slanted a long way across the left-hander Lomror and he throws his hands at it without moving his feet. Gets a thick outside edge and Saha flings himself to his left to take a superb, leaping catch

MK Lomror c †Saha b Kaul 11 (12b 0x4 0x6) SR: 91.66

18.2
2
Kaul to Lomror, 2 runs, Manish Pandey with a brilliant effort to save a six. A wide fuller one that Lomror lofts over the in-field. Pandey at long-off snaffles it reverse-cupped, leans back as he does so, and is right in front of the boundary. He's falling over with the momentum and releases the ball as he's falling away. Top effort. Just about lets the ball go as he falls over the boundary line
18.1
1
Kaul to Rahane, 1 run, backs away to a short one and picks backward point as he slaps it. Straight to the fielder but they do well take the run

Rashid Khan to Rahane, 1 run, gets down for another sweep, has to fetch it from outside off, so he doesn't time it too well as he works it to deep midwicket
17.1
6
Rashid Khan to Rahane, SIX, Rahane finally with the big hit. Whew! That was a long time coming. Rashid nicely floats this up outside Rahane's off-stump and he gets down on a knee to slog it over square leg for a massive six
