Evans seems to pre-meditate the reverse sweep, only to find out, rather fatefully, that he just does not have the requisite pace to work with. Does not bail out of the stroke and all he does is chip it tamely to Payne. Crucial wicket at this stage! 131/5

19.4 another catch for Overton! Full and zipped into the pads. Connolly tries to create room to go downtown but is unable to do so. Short-arm jabs it almost and hitting to the long straight boundary, that was never going to be enough. Overton swoops in from long on and does the rest! 147/7

19.2 goes miles up, and taken by Overton comfortably! Hard length outside off. Seems to just hold in the surface, meaning that Agar toe-ends it. Almost brings down rain with it, but when it comes down, Overton is well settled to complete the catch at long on. He briefly looked at where the fence was but he was well within bounds! 146/6
