Here's the updated table then, as the Sixers move up to second place, one point behind the Brisbane Heat. The Strikers remain in fourth. And on that note, it's a wrap from us. On behalf of Sudeep, Ranjith and the rest of the team, this is Madushka signing off.

Jordan Silk is the Player of the Match for his game-defining knock of 66 off 45.

Josh: "Last over chaos takes away from how poorly the strikers batted thenMaybe if we didn't let the 17th over go for 4 runs Or the 19th go for 5 runs We wouldn't have needed 18 off the 20th"

saravanan: "So many dots in the match paid back Adelaide Strikers"

10.22pm So the Sixers make it three from three, coming out victors in a classic nailbiter! It was a win set up courtesy Jordan Silk's 45-ball 66, and then with the ball the Sixers did excellently to keep the Striker's in check throughout. When Chris Lynn and then Matt Short were going strong it looked like the Strikers would have too much, but the spinners in particular kept things tight, along with the outstanding Jackson Bird. It was only in the final two overs that some lusty boundaries brought some genuine peril, as Jamie Overton threatened to steal the game at the death but the Sixers - as has become the norm - just know how to come through in tight games such as this.

Dwarshuis to Overton, 2 runs, The Sixers win by one run! This was a low full toss on the stumps, Overton can only loft it towards deep cover, who collects and ensures that only two can be run. The Striker's fall agonisingly short.

4 needed off the last ball. Overton on strike.
