7.44pm So the Scorchers bid farewell to the legendary WACA ground with a win. Fireworks shoot up to light up the clear, cloudless night sky. This ground has seen its share of indelible cricket moments over the years, and nothing short of a win for the home team would have made for a fitting goodbye. Scorchers also make sure that they end the group stage of this BBL as the top team. But they really had to grind it out and earn this win. Rashid Khan almost took the game away from them with his brilliant spell, but that partnership between Cameron Bancroft and Adam Voges made all the difference in the end. Voges with a captain's knock as the WACA faithful return home for one final time a happy lot. That's all we have for you from this top-of-the-table clash. We hope you enjoyed our coverage of this game. It's been a pleasure, as always!

Neser to Bresnan, SIX, top shot! Blazing finish to the chase. Bresnan seals it with a six. Gets a short ball that comes tied in a ribbon with the gift of width. Bresnan comfortably gets on top of it and ramps it over the third man region with an imperious upper cut

Neser to Voges, 1 run, overcompensates now and bangs it in, fortunately for him, Voges finds deep midwicket on the pull

Neser to Voges, SIX, well, it doesn't matter what the field is if thats how you're going to bowl. A full toss that has been muscled away over deep midwicket. Miles into the stands

Michael Neser to bowl the last over. He has nine to defend. Three fielders in the deep in the leg side. Third man inside the circle

Laughlin to Bresnan, 1 run, leg stump fuller ball, pushed down to long-on

That lbw was smashing leg stump. So another dodgy call. The umpires have had a rough night tonight.
