Scorecard

Three wickets from Tasmania quick Thomas Rogers put South Australia under enormous pressure on day two of the Sheffield Shield match in Hobart.

Rogers ran through the Redbacks top order, knocking over Jake Weatherald, Travis Head and Jake Lehmann cheaply to leave the Redbacks 4 for 90 in their response to Tasmania's first-innings total of 393.

Despite 51 from Callum Ferguson, they lost three more wickets late in the day to end it 223 runs behind with two days to play.

Earlier the Tigers lower order added valuable contributions to post a competitive first-innings total. Matthew Wade continued his excellent form with 68 while Rogers (41) and Jackson Bird (32) chipped in with handy scores.

Redbacks quick Nick Winter took the last two wickets of the innings for his fourth five-wicket haul in as many matches.
