1.4 Taskin barely had to move in his follow through to swallow this top edge. This was a back of a length ball, which gets to about mid-thigh height. Avishka, having not scored off his first six balls, is desperate to get himself going and aims a swipe over midwicket. Ends up only top edging it, and Taskin calls early, gets underneath the high chance, and takes it tumbling backwards using the reverse cup. 1/1

8.4 Gone. Gets the edge with a ball in the channel, that seams away slightly, with Mendis playing well away from his body. This is just good line and length bowling, with nice seam presentation. There's a thick edge, and the keeper snaffles it easy. Bangladesh end what could have been a dangerous stand. 67/2

9.4 mix-up and Kamindu is out, thanks to some cool work from Mahedi Hasan at point. Kamindu doesn't read Rishad's googly and the ball goes off the outside edge toward point. Both batters take off immediately, but Kamindu stutters when he sees the fielder is close to the ball, and ends up being stranded mid-pitch as Sadeera races to the strikers' end. Seeing Kamindu so far out of his ground, Mahedi sends in a gentle-enough throw to Rishad for the bowler to collect and break the stumps with plenty of time. 77/3

12.2 return catch! Sadeera too quick on a shot to a length ball on the pads, and ends up lobbing up the simplest of chances back to the bowler in his folliow through. Sadeera had tried to turn that to leg, but mistimed it badly. But it was a cutter, so although it was 133kph, it stuck in the pitch a bit 92/4

13.5 but how's that for a comeback from Mahedi! That was fast, speared in to middle stump. Asalanka, waiting for a short ball, makes a mess of a cut shot that was never on. The ball strikes middle stump and Mahedi is pumped. 112/5

8.6 Finally one goes to hand! This was short, just outside off. Litton goes for the pull but this one rises on him. Litton ends up holding back on the stroke and gets a toe-end to it. The ball pops up towards Asalanka at square leg who peddles back and holds on well over head 83/2
