9:20pm Right. That's it from us for tonight. Hope you enjoyed our coverage. See you tomorrow, same time, same place as Durban's Super Giants clash with the Sunrisers Eastern Cape. Till then, this is goodbye from all of us!

Kieron Pollard, MI Cape Town captain: (On Thomas Kaber) He played the first game but unfortunately in that first game, it was the Klaasen effect, and we all know how well he has been batting in the last 18 months or so. Tried to get him (Kaber) back into the eleven, and can't leave him out now I guess (smiles). We talk about resilience in the dressing room. At the start, I was thinking we were going to concede 200-plus again but we got a wicket and then got back in. (On the Rickelton-van der Dussen opening partnership) Long may it continue. I think they have understood what they need to do. They gave us a good start and a good foundation. (On Rickelton) Young guy trying to find his way. We are trying to give him a platform for him to succeed, and the sky is the limit for him. (On the crowd support) I just want to thank them for the support, the guys are looking forward to the support and hopefully we can give them something to shout about (in the home matches that remain).

David Miller, Paarl Royals captain: (On the performance) Our fielding was not up to standard, can't win games if you don't take your catches. (On the batting start they got) It was a fantastic start by the two openers, just what we needed. There was a bit of extra bounce from one side, and it was slower from the other end. To reduce us to 170 was a good effort. We let it slip towards the back end. One of those games where it did not go our way. (On Rickelton) Great to see someone like him performing the way he is. He has been really consistent. Hard to contain him. Rode his luck and batted phenomenally well. (On the dropped catch) I take full responsibility there, I got hands to it so should have caught it. A bit of confusion and I sort of committed too late. I have full faith in the boys, tonight was just one of those nights (where it did not go our way).

Ryan Rickelton, Player of the Match: Really chuffed to get the win for the team. Had a bit of luck tonight. Glad we got four points tonight. I am just trying to simplify my batting - trying to stay still, back my areas and I am not afraid to get out. Trying to set the platform for my team and then take it from there. (On batting with van der Dussen) We go a long way back. Great to see him hitting the ball well and we are having a lot of fun out there. The first couple of games that we lost, we were not beaten, we lost them. Could not get over the line. The games come thick and fast, hopefully we can get another win on Sunday and keep the momentum going.

Vishal Pawar : "Loving this tournament in India. Also an MI fan. This year looks like MICT will add another title to the franchise. Can't keep them away for long!"

9pm A clinical run-chase, iced by Rickelton, who was once again the star of MICT's batting show. He was handed a couple of reprieves but some of the strokes he played will live long in the memory. van der Dussen played his hand too at the top of the order, blazing away to 41 off 28 and laying the foundation for what turned out to be a comfortable win.

Not quite the Royals' day. They got off to a splendid start themselves during their batting innings but failed to capitalize. The dropped catch (of Rickelton) at the start of MICT's run-chase did not help them either, meaning that even when Shamsi bagged a couple of wickets, it only delayed the inevitable, rather than acting as a catalyst for a turnaround.

Ngidi to Rickelton, SIX, Rickelton finishes it off in style! What a way to bring the Royals' winning streak to an end! Dug in short, and Rickelton has read this like the morning daily. Rocks back and clatters it over deep backward square leg! Smiles in the MICT camp, and they will be thoroughly delighted with how today's game has panned out!

Ngidi to Rickelton, FOUR, four more! Slot ball this time, well outside off. Rickelton does well to reach out and then slams it over the bowler's head!

Ngidi to Rickelton, FOUR, what timing! Full and wide outside off. Rickelton jams down on it and absolutely crunches it. Flies off the middle of the bat and beats deep backward point and deep cover comfortably!

Ngidi to Rickelton, no run, off-pace on a length outside off. Rickelton has a mow at it but chunks it off the inside edge into his pads

Ngidi to Esterhuizen, 1 run, hard length and this follows the batter well outside leg. Esterhuizen gloves it towards the keeper and dashes across to the other end

Ngidi to bowl out

McCoy to Rickelton, no run, pace-on and banged into the track outside off. Rickelton swishes at it and misses. Beaten for pace perhaps
