That is two wins out of two for DSG, who are now on the top of the points table. Today's win over SEC was set up by Smuts and Pooran's fifties, before a combined bowling effort restricted the hosts. Anyway, the SA20 rolls on, as the double-header Saturday gives way to a Sunday afternoon fixture. Thanks for your company tonight, as this is Himanshu signing off on behalf of Thilak! Take care!

Jon-Jon Smuts is the Player of the Match: "Pretty good wicket. The opening partnership set the platform for us. Bit of luck went our way. Nicky P and Heinrich also got us to 225. I know this wicket pretty well; spent a lot of time playing on this wicket. Just happy to contribute here today for the team. We've got a very strong squad. On to the next game, and hope we can get the momentum going"

Keshav Maharaj, the winning captain: "Little more of a clinical performance today. The batting was phenomenal.. Jon Jon played a role. Nicky did what he does best. It's just great to see everyone's putting their hand up. Gleeson got off the flight the other day, but he still executed. The crowd was exceptional. PE is always a special place. It's about assessing each game as it comes."

Aiden Markram speaks first: "It was a good game. The general cricket lover would have appreciated the game. Not at our best... probably we could have been better from the execution point of view. It's quite frightening what guys can do these days (referring to Abell's efforts)! If you don't take wickets regularly, they (DSG) are going to hurt you. Certainly no panic, but time to learn."

Time for the presentations

9.04pm SEC fight back, but still fall comfortably short of their target of 226. They lost two wickets and managed just 16 runs in the first four overs, threatening to hit back only during the stand between Abell and Markram. They added 93 off 52 balls, but it wasn't enough. Stubbs tried to limit the damage by smashing 55 from 26 deliveries, as only three SEC batters entered double figures, courtesy Topley, Gleeson and co. Hang around for the presentations.

Pretorius to Baartman, 1 run, on a length on middle, as he looked to pull but got it on his pads

Pretorius to Worrall, OUT, sliced to short third! Simple catch for Topley right in front of his chest. A yorker-length ball on fourth stump, as Worrall opened the face of his bat to guide that, but ended up chipping it to the fielder

Pretorius to Worrall, no run, quite full, and just outside off. Looked to slash, but was beaten

Pretorius to Stubbs, OUT, fires in a length ball and he appeals for lbw. The umpire raises his finger immediately, even as Stubbs reviews while walking back. It pitched on a length on middle and leg, and angled in to hit his front leg, which is slightly outside leg. Stubbs looked to swing but missed, and replays show the ball would have hit the leg stump

Pretorius to Harmer, 1 run, full delivery angling into his pads, and whipped to deep square

Pretorius to Harmer, 2 runs, ahh, Dala from deep midwicket runs and slides wayyy to his left, and takes it on the bounce. Full ball on the stumps, and Harmer had a hoick at this slower ball
