6:05pm West Indies have now lost each of their last ten T20Is, including one via Super Over against New Zealand. And they have a tougher opponent next in India, whom they play on Monday night. Hope you join us then. On behalf of Vairavan and Srinidhi, it's goodbye and take care!

Eric H: "How can you have your best player on the bench and expect to win? Who is better than Stafanie Taylor in the West Indies team? " Not sure if she is 100% fit yet.

6pm Hayley Matthews: "We would have hoped to get off to a better start. The way C Connell bowled through the innings was very good to watch. We want to get used to the conditions and see what the wickets are going to be like. [Batting] We need more runs at the top and if we could get one or two batters stick in for long, that will help."

Sune Luus "All aspects of the game came together today. We spoke about what we needed to improve after the first game. Focused on the basics and got it right today. [Crowd] Awesome to get a crowd here and sets us up for World Cup. Bosch, Ayabonga, Jafta are from East London. We would have finished a bit more with the bat at the death overs. We could have knocked more balls in the gaps instead of dots and bat better."

Player of the match, Masabata Klaas: "Thanks to our supporters for turning up. As bowlers we always want to get better and I asked myself to keep going after two overs. I was enjoying myself. When the team-mates and management support, it is a nice feeling. We played a game here so we knew what areas to hit."

5:54pm A Klaas act ensured that West Indies' first outing in the tri-series ended up in a disappointment. Chasing 142, they were off to a decent start but Klaas got in the game and never let the opponents get away. Batting was always their weaker suit and a brittle middle order meant that the chase was derailed once Matthews and Cooper were separated. South Africa's spinners also managed to keep a stronghold on the Windies batters. They managed to turnaround quickly after their loss against India.

Earlier, it was Kapp's half-century and her 63-run stand with Luus that helped South Africa cross the 140-run mark. On a slow surface, they never let West Indies get away in the face of some disciplined bowling.
