35.3 The ramp has brought about his downfall! Did he not see the fielder? Having said that, Blackwood has made a terrific recovery, to take a splendid catch reverse-cupped. Banged in short closer to the body, he arches back and ramps it. As soon as he played the shot, Elgar went oh, no! Blackwood misjudged the catch initially, came in too quickly. However, he settled himself and ended up catching it and made sure to not drop the ball despite falling on his backside. 141/1

60.4 Joseph is all over South Africa! It needed a special delivery to get a batter who is on 115 out, and Joseph does just that. Pin-point yorker at the base of off stump, and there is nothing Markram can do about it! He is late to bring his bat down on the 145 kph delivery and before he can, the ball crashes into Markram's off and middle stump. 236/4
56.3 Cracked off the backfoot and Chanderpaul does well at deep point again! Oh, de Zorzi is way down the crease searching for a third run only to be sent back. The throw is a bit wide, but da Silva has done really well. And de Zorzi is run out! What a way to get out. Da Silva had to get well across to collect the throw and he just palmed the ball back onto the stumps. De Zorzi, I think wasn't expecting that, and did not put in the dive. He is juuust short of the crease. He took an age to turn back did de Zorzi. 221/2
56.5 One brings two and Bavuma bags a two-ball duck on Test captaincy debut! That was absolutely plumb. Pitched up on middle stump. Bavuma plays all around it and the ball pins him bang in front of middle. The umpire has no hesitation in lifting his finger. That would have missed off, missed leg, hit halfway up middle. Bavuma thinks of a review, is talked out of it by Markram. 221/3
76.1 LBW appeal is given straight away, Peterson started to walk but reviews later, Jansen may have had a say in that. Peterson went across to a length ball, leg stump was fully visible as he missed the flick. It the knee-roll and looked straight. Pitching: outside off, impact: in line, hitting three-fourth of the way up middle. 290/7
66.5 Gets his man! This is a big, big wicket in the context of the game. Banged in back of a length rushing Klaasen. He is late into the pull, and the ball hits the splice of his bat ballooning to the right of mid-on. Joseph runs to his right and completes a comfortable catch. Just the opening West Indies needed late in the day. 262/5
69.6 Shoulders arms and the length ball hits the pad, huge lbw appeal is turned down. WI review upheld late. So it's the batter who reviews. Pitched outside off and nipped back in, hits him over the knee-roll and looks a bit high but it's clipping the top of middle and leg. Big cheers from the fielders. The slump continues 271/6

79.4 Outside edge, taken at second slip. In-between length in the channel, Rabada looks to defend with an angled bat but the line and length does for him. Blackwood lunged low and took a good catch. Firdose adds context: South Africa have lost 7/79 since de Zorzi's run out 300/8
84.1 Zips off the pitch, Coetzee gloves it and it balloons to second slip. On a back of length, following Coetzee who was swaying to the leg side trying to avoid it. Eyes off the ball and the bat is close to the chest. Ball went off the right glove for a dolly. 326/9
86.3 Joseph has his maiden Test five-for and South Africa are out for 342! He bangs it in short does Joseph and Nortje goes for the cut. He ends up skying it square on the offside and Chanderpaul runs from gully and does well to get underneath and hold on to the catch 342/10

6.4 Top of off trimmed! Wobbling length ball pitches around middle, good luck guessing that that'd go away. Brathwaite couldn't, his leg-and-middle guard didn't help but it's hard to do much about them apples. It went past the full-faced back-foot defence and sent the bails on a flight. Not dissimilar from some of the opener's dismissals in Australia. 22/1
16.4 Oh that's a great catch at gully and Chanderpaul becomes Coetzee's first Test wicket. Full outside off from around the wicket and the change in angle works. Tagenarine drives at it and gets a thick edge and Muthusamy takes a good catch to his right. That was coming hard and fast and he does well to hold on. Coetzee is absolutely pumped and why shouldn't he be?! 58/2
56.6 Channel ball is edged and taken. Length just outside off. Reifer was squared up, leg stump fully visible from the bowler's viewpoint. He tried defending it with a slightly closed bat face but the ball, after coming towards him straight while in the air, straightened after pitching and went off a thin outside edge to the keeper. 169/4
38.3 Big appeal for caught behind, and up goes the finger! Blackwood has reviewed this. It was full on off, going in and as Blackwood looks to drive, gets an inside edge onto his leg and it went through to Klaasen who took a good catch diving forward 122/3
57.1 Two in two for South Africa as Chase edges the back-of-length ball to first slip! Was angling into the batter after pitching outside off, didn't move laterally but Chase was stuck in the crease and played down the wrong line. He was standing back in the crease and tried to defend it with a straight-ish bat 169/5
63.5 Nortje has his fifth! It's a well deserved five-wicket haul for the South Africa quick. He bangs this in short and Mayers goes for the pull. Gets a top edge and it's a simple catch for Jansen at deep fine. That's the third 'b Nortje c Jansen' dismissal this innings! 201/9
59.1 Wide ball is cut and Da Silva finds Jansen at point Da Silva stands in disbelief before walking away. Nortje is happy and the fielders are pumped. It was a 'hit me' ball that offered width and was short. Da Silva went back and looked to carve it, a fusion of a cut and a back-foot punch with greater resemblance to the former. But got it aerially and Jansen did well to go down and keep hold of it. The last three wickets have fallen in the space of ten runs. 179/6
59.4 Taken by Markram at second slip! Holder went back, got a bit squared up and looked to clip it across the line. It took the outside/leading edge and went slow and low to the fielder and the catch was completed comfortably. 179/7
61.4 Back-foot punch, taken at point again! Very similar to Da Silva's wicket. Was less wide this time on a back of length, Joseph tried tried to punch it with an open face off in front of point but it popped off the edge and Jansen takes another easy low catch. West Indies' collapse is now 5 for 21. 190/8

68.6 Struck in front, and the umpire has given it! Gabriel reviews it. That was on a length around off, and seamed in sharply and stayed low. Gabriel was beaten as he looked to clip it leg-side. Is this going down leg? It's umpire's call on wickets and Coetzee has his second Test wicket. West Indies have been knocked over for 212, and South Africa have a 130-run first-innings lead 212/10

17.1 Roach roars out a big appeal for caught behind. Umpire Erasmus initially shakes his head. Da Silva also thinks he has his man. Markram, though, walks off and then Erasmus raises his finger. Wide on the crease, Roach tricks Markram into playing for the inward angle but the ball straightens away late to snag the outside edge that is held by the keeper. Faint edge and gone. Massive wicket for WI on the third morning. Markram falls three shy of a half-century 69/6
3.6 Elgar falls to the ramp for the second time in the match! He is frustrated and he should be! Joseph bangs it in short on leg, cramping Elgar for room. He sways away and goes for the ramp and picks out Raymon Reifer at deep third 31/1
4.6 That's a ripper and Roach has given West Indies another breakthrough! On a length outside off, angling in, and it straightens off the pitch and just kisses the outside edge on the way through to Da Silva 33/2
5.3 Bavuma has bagged a pair on Test captaincy debut! It's an absolute snorter, banged in on a length outside off and straightening away. Bavuma was on his toes and looking to defend and the ball just skims the outside edge and West Indies have another breakthrough 34/3
8.1 And he makes an instant impact! Traps him in front with one that stayed low from a length outside off and Petersen doesn't even review it! The ball came in with the angle from outside off and beat Petersen's inside edge. And that leaves South Africa four down and it's stumps as holder picks up his 150th Test wicket. 49/4
10.2 Holder strikes in his second over on day three and wheels away in celebration. Edged and taken. Much fuller and much wider of off stump. Holder draws Klaasen into a loose drive. The batter reaches out for the ball with hard hands and the WI keeper does the rest 57/5
22.2 Strangled down the legside! Gabriel makes an impact rightaway! Back of a length ball on the hips of Mutusamy. He is cramped for room as he looks to help it away, catches him on the gloves with Da Silva doing the rest to his right. The umpire delays lifting his finger, but does so eventually. 80/8

19.3 Another terrific delivery from Roach. This castles Jansen. Wide on the crease once again, good length, threatens to angle in, but straightens away off the seam to beat the outside edge and crash into the top of off stump. Are WI onto something in Centurion? 76/7

25.6 There's another one and Roach gets his third wicket of the morning! Banged in short again, he dances down the track again, looking to thrash it away. But the ball gets big on him and he can only get a thick edge to Da Silva. 109/9
27.6 Big, big appeal from Roach for caught behind, but not given! Oh, he is down on his haunches. There was a noise, as the ball shapes past Nortje's bat. And there is a spike! Length on off, he gets a feather of an edge and Roach has five! This is the 11th five-wicket haul for the seamer. 116/10

0.3 Loud appeal as Brathwaite looks for a flick with Klaasen diving to his left to collect. Was there a faint nick? Bavuma reviews at the last moment. Oh, my, there is a bit of a bat. Some movement on the UltraEdge. Excellent review and Brathwaite goes just before lunch. It was a nonchalant length ball down leg. Brathwaite would have hoped for a bit more bat. Credit to Klaasen too for taking the catch and then convincing the captain to take the review. 0/1
9.3 Jansen strikes with his third delivery, bounces Chanderpaul out. Banged in short and outside off, gets too big on Chanderpaul's hook. He splices a top edge. Nortje runs in from midwicket, I think, and clings onto this skier 20/3
6.6 Klaasen dives across to his left and pouches a sharp catch in front of first slip. Full and angling across off from right-arm over, Rabada lures Reifer into a waft away from his body. He pushes at the ball with hard hands and nicks it off. Another wicket for Rabada 12/2
40.1 Rabada takes out Blackwood and all but wraps it up for SA. 13th five-wicket haul for Rabada. Kicks up from a length and outside off, the batter leaps but can't keep the ball down. Fends it into the hands of second slip. Fine innings from Blackwood nevertheless 157/9
9.4 Jansen bowls Chase first ball. He offers no shot first ball. Chase thinks this will go away from him from left-arm over, but Jansen brings this back against the angle and pings the top of off stump. WI sink to 20 for 4 20/4
14.2 edged and taken at first slip. Rears up from a length and jags away outside off. Mayers jabs away from the body and sends an outside edge flying to Elgar at first slip. Good overhead catch from Elgar. Mayers gone for a 15-ball duck 33/5
24.6 Da Silva pays the price for playing away from his body and Rabada strikes! Length ball that shapes away from the batter, baiting him into a drive. Da Silva reaches for it, without a lot of foot movement. Gets a thick edge that is snapped up by Peterson at third slip, reverse-cupped. Just when a partnership was building, Rabada has given SA a timely wicket. 91/6
32.1 Rabada provides SA with another key breakthrough. Good length, angling in, seams away a bit with some extra bounce. A crease-bound Holder dangles his bat out and nicks it behind to Klaasen 128/7
35.2 Holes out to long leg. Rabada runs forward and completes a tumbling catch. Sharp bouncer outside off, Joseph dares to hook but can only top-edge it to the outfielder 139/8
40.6 That's that! Rabada has six and South Africa win by 87 runs! First win for coach Conrad. Pacy length ball on off that hits Roach bang in front of the stumps. He was back as well. Up goes the umpire's finger almost in an instance. Rabada steps up when it is needed the most! 159/10
