4.5 edged, snapped up low at slip! Bairstow flinches at one nibbling away in the channel, turns and sees Mitchell celebrating. The umpires send it upstairs to be checked but this is a super grab, gets both hands around it just to the left of his bootstraps. Henry makes the breakthrough, ending a skittish knock from YJB 28/1
40.1 flung out wide, Malan stretches for it, and nicks behind! He slumps in disappointment, it's a tame dismissal, looking to cut for one. But he will walk off to a standing ovation after notching a fine century, setting the platform for the second game running. Third wicket for Ravindra, and a good time to get one with 9.5 overs still to be bowled 243/5

20.3 huge slog-sweep, Root is bowled! The end of a horrid innings by Root's mellifluous standards... loses his shape as he plants the front dog, and is nowhere near the ball as it turns just enough to thump his off stump and zing his bails 107/2
24.5 urgh, scruffy cricket all round! Short, a rank long-hop from Ravindra, but it sticks in the pitch as Brook swings for the hills, and picks out the close catcher at mid-on 139/3
33.3 Buttler's gone, shovelled to mid-off! Daryl punches the air in celebration, a proper golden arm moment as a full wobbler in the slot somehow gets the opposition's best batter! Buttler was attempting to pump this down the ground but couldn't quite get under it and picks out Boult for a head-height catch. England's momentum checked again 195/4
45.2 low full toss, Livingstone misses and is given out lbw! He reviews after some deliberation, but I think this is salmon and trout. Fired in straight, hits above the ankle swinging across the line... and Hawk-Eyes says it would have detonated the bottom of leg stump! Jamieson strikes now, as NZ continue to peg England back at crucial moments 270/7
42.2 goes even wider... and Moeen holes out to long-off! Could have left it and taken the extra, but instead Moeen spoons it into the afternoon sky. It's a long drop for Boult, who nearly makes a mess of the catch - but holds on at the second attempt to give Ravindra his fourth. Moeen fizzles off to the dressing room, won't be providing any fireworks today 250/6

46.5 bowled 'im, off stump flattened! Henry scrambles the seam and gets this to go down the slope, past Curran's forward poke and into the woodwork. Sprightly knock from Curran, but half-formed once again 282/8
49.3 slower delivery, Willey picks out long-on! Big heave but it comes off the toe of the bat and Boult has time to steady himself for the catch. Mitchell gets another, but Willey has done his bit 304/9

8.3 angled across and feathered behind! Willey gets the reward for giving Young a real working over in that off-stump channel. This one doesn't swing into the right-hander, Young is groping half-forward and there's a thin edge. Buttler almost spills it, but ends up on his front, clutching the gloves to his chest. Both NZ openers gone 38/2
5.2 swinging into the pads, Buttler scoots to his left... and runs out Conway with a direct hit! Superb work from England's captain and keeper, and England have an opening. He moved across, discarded the right glove, collected the ball and threw down the stumps almost in one motion. It was Conway's call, the batter at full stretch but still half a yard short. Brilliant 24/1
24.5 down the pitch, Moeen adjusts his length and thumps the pad... half an appeal but the bowler reckons it's on the high side... but they'll have a review all the same. Doesn't look like any inside-edge, there's a murmur as the ball passes the edge - the third umpire reckons it's bat on pad - but it still seems leg-sided to the naked eye. In fact, it's hitting leg! Nicholls is a bit bewildered by that one... but he's on his way 122/5
11.3 bowled him! Pace from Carse, 89mph/143kph and fizzing back through the gate to hit off stump! Might have been a hint of inside edge with the ball coming back down the slope, but either way... Mitchell had been tied down in the previous over and then gets bulldozed by Carse's third ball 52/3
18.3 cramped for room again! Sliding down the slope, into the pads again, Latham swings across the line, doesn't make contact except with his pads, onto the middle stump! Key wicket as New Zealand slide further 88/4
29.5 full toss, filth gets wickets! Phillips lashes for the stands, Brook is back on the rope at deep midwicket, and trots in to swallow the offering! Phillips drops his bat in disgust and disbelief. This goose really is cooked now! 142/6

38.2 Curran slips in the yorker, that's all folks! Full and straight, lights up the zing bails, and Ravindra's resistance is over. England win by 100 runs, and seal a 3-1 series win ahead of flying to India for their World Cup defence 211/10
34.3 dinked back to the bowler, easy as that! Jamieson had played a couple of decent shots but this was a tame way to go, leaning back and plopping a half-formed drive straight into Moeen's hands. He heads off, and this one is almost done 169/7
34.4 edged to slip first ball! Gives it some air outside off and Henry throws the hands through a drive, slices straight to slip. Sharp chance, Root juggles it but holds on. Henry walks straight back whence he came... 169/8
