Scorer: Binoy George

That's all from us. See you for the playoffs of the ILT20!

Player of the Match is Nathan Sowter: "Ball was staying low so wanted to bring the stumps in play really. Spoke with coach before the game to be aggressive and back my ability over and over again. I've enjoyed working with Hasaranga and Shadab."

Winning captain Colin Munro: "Up and down to be brutally honest. We haven't played good enough cricket for long enough. We just haven't been clinical. We lost two last-ball games. We haven't been quite at our best. Only Hales put his hand up with the bat. We had the better of the conditions today. Salt was a good acquisition for us too. Now I head off to PSL. We'll enjoy tonight. It is a weird thing franchise cricket because you may not see each other for six months or so."

It is raining.

Losing captain Kohler-Cadmore: "We had a lot of highs and a lot of lows. We've been really off pace in games we've lost. Everyone will reflect anyway and come away with positives instead of dwell on stuff. If we come back again, it'll be about reflecting and making sure you learn. Every tournament is short and sharp these days so a lot is about momentum. Fine little margins. If Capitals wouldn't have won then this would've been more like a knockout game. Captaincy was good fun. Challenging at times but great learning."

10.52pm A consolation win for Desert Vipers and that's that from the league stage of ILT20. It was eventually a very close league stage with nothing much to choose between the six teams. Unfortunately, two teams must be eliminated, and the cards have fallen in such a way that the teams playing today are the ones going home. We'll be back with some words from the captains soon.

Nilansh Keswani to Curran, SIX, length ball on off. Stays on the back foot and pulls it awkwardly, and it looks like the ball has just about beaten Watt at deep square leg! That's game, set, and match.

Nilansh Keswani to Chandimal, 1 run, full ball sliding into his pads. Flicked to the deep

Nilansh Keswani to Munro, 1 run, OUT, full ball outside off. Cut through point, who misfields. Allows them to take two but that's a risky second... and looks like it is a run-out! Yes, Munro goes trying to pinch the second, beaten by the throw from the deep

C Munro run out 27 (30m 20b 1x4 1x6) SR: 135.00

Ryan: "over 5.6...you clearly jinxed Hales when u said he was just 17 runs away from taking the belt for highest run scorer!!!"
