There we go. Over six-hundred runs scored. And in the end, it's a tie. Virat Kohli made a century - one that no one will soon forget, it took him past 10,000 ODI runs, and it showcased that he can get runs even in the harshest conditions for limited-overs batting. Shai Hope and Shimron Hetmyer threatened to gatecrash India's party, one playing shots out of the text book and the other just playing, just hitting, just swindling the spirit from the bowler. In the end, none of them deserved to be on the losing side.

Virat Kohli is Man of the Match for his unbeaten 157. "First of all, I would like to say ti was a great game of circket. Full house. Credit to the West Indies as well. They showed great heart and fight. Specially in the second innings, after they were three down, Hetmyer and Hope stuck it out. Pretty proud of my innings and my milestone [10,000 runs]. It's something that we decided pre-game. Everyone was of the opinion we wanted to bat first because it was hot and humid and also in the big games, in world cups, you might have to put runs on the board and defend. The pitch was drastically different in the second innings. We were looking at 275-280 only, but I got going and we got those extra runs. We had a challenge in front of us today and luckily we got away with a tie and we'll take that at the end of the day. When the run-rate fell under six, I thought they were in a strong position but Kuldeep got a wicket, Chahal bowled a brilliant over and Umesh and Shami closed it out. One boundary off Umesh off the shoe and one in the end, a couple of inches from Rayudu from pulling it in. That's how the game goes. We should all just enjoy it and not keep pulling at strings. I've enjoyed being a part of it and West Indies certainly deserved a draw for the way they played. Rayudu was really professional. He's someone we're looking at to be a permanent No. 4. He plays spin well, he plays pace wlel, he's in good momentum, in good form. And Shai obviously, I've watched him since that Headingley game. He plays classy knocks and even Hetmyer as well. Both of them played really really well"

"Really good game of cricket. Two outstanding knocks. Virat was outstanding, congrats to him for 10,000 runs. Shai Hope though, young player, scoring a century like that in a high-pressure game. And Hetmyer as well.," Jason Holder says. "I guess the run-out of myself. And the wicket of Hetmyer as well, he was the set batsman, they were getting runs easy. We said at the beginning of the innings that one of our top four had to go on and bat till the end. Good on Shai to do that. India got a par score. Before coming here, we knew we should be hitting that mark over and over. I thought our bowlers tried. But we were a bit sloppy in the field. Obed McCoy has a lot of variations, the cutters and slower balls and the wicket helps that kind of bowling. He's one of those players we've identities as a death bowler"

"Worked very hard today," Shai Hope says "We lost wickets at crucial stages. We lost Jason late. But that's the key, when the game gets tight. We needed to keep wickets in hand. The pitch was good. It came on with the new ball and it spun for both teams. We came here to win, we didn't come here to complete. Just a bit disappointed. [Plans in the last couple of overs] I was trying to get bat on ball, try to hit the gaps, get as close as possible"

Varun Shetty with the last word: A strange change in strategy last ball. Umesh'd nailed five yorkers on the stumps (with some bad luck) and for some reason, India chose to bring third man up and push point back for a wide yorker. Hope was never going to play the scoop.

9.45 pm Yikes. West Indies needed 65 from the last 11 overs. That's under run-a-ball and they got to that position only because of Shimron Hetmyer's breathtaking innings - 94 off only 64 balls. With him for all of that innings was Shai Hope, who did go on to get a century, and evebtually the tie as well. But you think they'd been kicking themselves a bit right now? They had this chase done. They had India's spinners scratching their heads. They were pulling off an insane heist until the last few overs where Jadeja, Kuldeep, Chahal, Shami and in the end Yadav did so very well and ensure India did not lose the match in which their captain Virat Kohli became the fastest man to 10,000 ODI runs.

Raj: "By the way ...who was celebrating in the end ? West Indies or India ??" --- No one celebrated. India knew they got out of jail. West Indies knew they missed out on a win

Dhaval: "Why no Super over in ODIs? ICC should consider this. Could make a lot of difference to teams like WI who needs such wins under their belt. If a result is possible why not play for it. "

Yadav to Hope, FOUR, they tie it! They tie it! West Indies have tied it! Hope carves a full delivery outside off to the point boundary, past the reach of Rayudu patrolling there.

West Indies need five to win, four to tie

Yadav to Hope, 2 runs, low full toss, which Hope swings to deep midwicket. Two runs the result

The batsmen crossed so Hope will be on strike for the next ball. West Indies need seven off two balls now

Yadav to Nurse, OUT, caught at third man playing the scoop! Nurse does well - predicting this would be near the blockhole and would have enough pace for him to play a dinky shot like that. But it carries to deep third man, and Rayudu holds onto a high-pressure catch.

Ayni: "WI neck to neck with India at the same over mark , plus a centurion on strike needing to get the 14 runs another centurion got earlier in the day, off the last 6 balls. Scintillating stuff. Tie would be a fair result."
