7:34pm That's all from our coverage. We hope you had a good time, particularly during the most engaging rain break we've had on our site for a long time. Here's hoping we have an uninterrupted game the next time. On behalf of Nikhil and Raghav, I take your leave.

Martin Guptill: We got off to a good start. Of course, losing Colin wasn't ideal. I spent most of my time during the break on the physio bed. Ross [Taylor] is quite a claming influnce. It was nice to have him there and see it through to the end.

Kane Williamson: Yeah it was a brilliant perfoemance. I think for the first half we were brilliant with the ball and then Pakistan showed resistance. It worked in our favour to have Guptill out there. Martin playing with that freedom was great to watch.

Sarfraz Ahmed: Very disappointing performance. Our batting didn't do well and we needed lower order to perform. It was very disapponting. [I know] the rain isn't in our hands, but when it came down the momentum was in our favour. We lost too many wickets in the first ten overs. Inshallah, we'll bounce back.

Martin Guptill is the Man of the Match.

7:17pm A lot of complex math later, New Zealand have won this. Pakistan's play was long term, and they expected their spinners to come in and strange New Zealand. Might have worked for them too after having them 64 for 2 in 14 overs. However, the rain changed that equation. To some extent, their own middle order batting changed that equation too. New Zealand could have easily been chasing 151 in 50 overs if Pakistan's lower order didn't come in and rescue them. A stunning assault from Hasan Ali, with his 30-ball fifty, and a calm innings from Shadab Khan who was forced to take more responsibility than he should be taking at No. 7. Pakistan crawled their way back in, but suddenly found everything about the game suited one man - Martin Guptill.
