Umesh spears it full and straight at 144.7ks, Karunaratne is beaten for pace. And when the bat is brought down late, it comes down at an angle. He ends up playing all around it. The ball flies to Mendis crouching at leg gully. It bobbles out but Mendis sticks out his right hand and clings onto the catch, with just one hand, on the rebound.
