10.00pm Charlie Dean is indeed player of the match after getting the ball rolling with those two wickets inside the first four overs. At that point India were 17 for 2 and never recovered. Srinidi's report will appear here shortly and Sruthi will be writing from the ground, so keep an eye out for that. From us all and our scorer, Ranjith, thank you for joining us and we look forward to welcoming you back tomorrow for the last match of the series.
9.35pm England will take it though. Victory by four wickets and an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. It came down to India's poor batting display after being sent in.
Alice Capsey say England are targeting a clean sweep in tomorrow's final match. "It didn't go to plan at the end but the main thing is we got over the line. We still haven't played the perfect game of cricket. Our three spinners really put in the work and our seamers followed up as well."
Capsey top-scored for her side with 25 after a first-ball duck in the opening match. There's still some concern for England with the form of Sophia Dunkley, who made 9 off 13 this time out after just 1 on Wednesday. But they couldn't have wished for a better return from injury for Sophie Ecclestone... three wickets in the first match, two here and a stunning return catch to remove Richa Ghosh. Charlie Dean, back from illness, set them off nicely by removing both openers, with all of the top four falling lbw.
