That's all we have for this game. Ireland have some serious worrying to do and need to pull up their socks before the ODI series too begins to slip away from them. Plenty of time to stage a comeback, though, as there are four games remaining. Afghanistan's unstoppable run this tour continues and they will head into the second ODI on Friday with a world of momentum and confidence. See you then. Until then, it's good bye from us. Thank you for joining us.

Baher : "Congratulation Afghanistan Every hard work has joyful result. "

Asghar Stanikzai - Every series, the first game is very important. Porterfield and Stirling played very well. Credit goes to Rashid Khan and Dawlat Zadran and it proved to be a very good comeback. The old ball is good for reverse swing and Dawlat is an experienced bowler which is capable of reversing it. That's why the game opened.

Porterfield - It's frustrating that the century did not come in a winning cause. We thought we wer ein a great position, but they never gave up and this is a game we should have won. We had a good partnership but we knew it wasn't going to be easy. We should have had a couple more partnerships to see it off. I think he played a couple of good knocks in the T20s and got a 60-odd in the previous game. So not too worried about the form of the middle order.

William Porterfield is the Man of the Match for his century.

5.20pm What a collapse this has been! Ireland were cruising and you thought they would perhaps finish this with five overs to spare. The game still got over with 19 balls to spare, just that the result wasn't quite what Ireland were hoping for. And it is that man - Rashid Khan - who did it again, with four wickets. Good support from Dawlat Zadran who also chipped in with four wickets. If you have just tuned in, Ireland were 206 for 2 in the 36th over. And from there, it has been a collapse of some proportions. Ireland's forgettable tour continues after being swept in the T20s and Afghanistan go 1-0 up. Stay tuned for the presentations.

Dawlat Zadran to Chase, OUT, and there's the end. Comes down the track in a pre-meditated move and the bowler makes the adjustment in length. Drops it short and he has to play a forced pull late, gets a top edge for his troubles and gets it off the top edge to long-on who takes it easily

Dawlat Zadran to Chase, no run, slower yorker, dips very late and the batsman is looking to get leg side of it and whip it through the on side. Misses and the ball goes from after the leg stump to the keeper

Fazalrabi : "Ireland aren't giving up that easily. conceded 25 runs in the last three overs. It isn't yet finished. "
