Sports: Football, basketball, baseball.

Sports highlights: Caden is a three-time letterwinner and a three-year starter in football for the Thunderbirds, who qualified for the playoffs this season for the first time since 2006. A co-captain as a senior, he is a starter at tight end and defensive end. He started at tight end and defensive end as a junior and at wide receiver and defensive end as a sophomore.

He is a three-time letterwinner and a returning starter as a forward and center in basketball. He is a two-time letterwinner in baseball and is a returning starter at third base and is also a pitcher.

Pre-game ritual or superstition: Wings on Wednesday.

Favorite subject/class: Chemistry.

This and that: Member of Baraboo Leadership Council …volunteer work includes youth football, basketball and baseball camps, Youth Group for Immanuel Methodist Church in Baraboo … worked part-time at Culver’s, umpired youth baseball games, part-time babysitter … played American Legion baseball for three years and AAU basketball for Wisconsin Swing program for one year … member of Honor Roll.

Hobbies: Being with friends, watching movies, fishing.

Post-high school plans: Serve my country and play football for the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.

Did you know? I have been to 39 states. I was born in Baraboo and lived in Washington DC and Eugene, Oregon before moving back to Baraboo my freshman year.

Career goal: To retire when I am 45 after serving 20 years as a pilot.
