India's HS Prannoy and Kidambi Srikanth reached the second round of the Indonesia Open, but B Sai Praneeth bowed out in Jakarta on Wednesday.

Prannoy, who was playing after a three-month break, beat world No. 20 Anthony Sinisuka Ginting of Indonesia 21-13, 21-18 in 43 minutes. The Indian won nine consecutive points at one stage in the second game on way to victory. He will meet world No. 3 Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia in the next round.
