Crows grant grieving Walker personal leave

Adelaide Crows captain Taylor Walker has been granted leave by the AFL club as he and partner Ellie Brown mourn the loss of their unborn baby.

Walker was due to return to pre-season training next Monday, but has been given time away from the club as the couple deal with the devastating situation.

"Adelaide has granted Taylor Walker personal leave following the loss of he and his partner Ellie's unborn baby," the Crows said in a statement on Thursday night.

"The thoughts of the entire Crows family are with Taylor and Ellie, as well as their extended family, at this difficult time.

"The club asks that their privacy is respected and there will be no further comment at this stage."
