Paris Saint-Germain will get a shot at a 12th Coupe de France title, which would be their fourth consecutive, after a 3-1 win away at Caen earned them a date at Stade de France against Les Herbiers next month.
Kylian Mbappe scored twice and Christopher Nkunku added a late third to nullify Ismael Diomande's first-half equaliser for the hosts, who ultimately finished with 10 men at Stade Michel d'Ornano.
Positives
Reaching a domestic cup final should never be underplayed and to do so for a fourth-straight season, especially one that has seen plenty of shocks along the way, remains an achievement.
It is also a relief, because PSG were disappointing for large parts of the match and looked to be heading for extra time until Mbappe struck late on.
The 19-year-old, who was inspirational during the French capital outfit's Coupe de la Ligue win over former club Monaco in Bordeaux, was instrumental again here and rose to the occasion with a brace.
Negatives
Kevin Trapp, Yuri Berchiche and Adrien Rabiot hardly covered themselves with glory in Normandy, but thankfully for them, PSG's front three were in good enough form to get the job done and win the match.
The performance was not pretty at times, but it was ultimately effective, and the result even looked more comfortable than it actually was in reality, with Unai Emery's men less than 10 minutes away from extra time at one stage.

6 -- Unai Emery made minimal changes to the starting XI that thrashed Monaco last Sunday to secure the Ligue 1 title in style and although he had to wait until late to make some changes, his substitutions ultimately worked with Nkunku, Dani Alves and Javier Pastore all contributing.

GK Kevin Trapp, 4 -- Questionable on Diomande's equaliser, he wasted a rare chance to impress -- even if the goal took a big deflection on its way past him.
DF Thomas Meunier, 5 -- Preferred to Alves at right-back, it was a cumbersome performance defensively and he was not involved enough going forward.
DF Marquinhos, 6 -- Started the move for Mbappe's second and was also involved in Nkunku's late strike but missed a sitter of his own in an otherwise solid display.
DF Thiago Silva (c), 6 -- Like Marquinhos, he was involved in Nkunku's late goal and was more or less unflustered the rest of the time.
DF Yuri Berchiche, 4 -- Unnecessarily aggressive and deservedly booked, it is getting harder and harder for Emery to pick a starting left-back of late with him and Layvin Kurzawa in such poor form.
MF Adrien Rabiot, 4 -- Another disappointing outing, which adds to the feeling that he could be losing form at just the wrong time with the World Cup approaching.
MF Giovani Lo Celso, 5 -- Far from the heights of last Sunday's excellent showing against Monaco, but he did more than Rabiot.
MF Julian Draxler, 6 -- Involved in Mbappe's opener, it was not his best showing in central midfield, but it was ultimately enough to get the job done.
FW Kylian Mbappe, 8 -- Majestic. He turned on the style with two goals and some trickery that Neymar would have been proud of (and no doubt also accused of showboating for) and just when it looked as if video assistant referee (VAR) would spoil his evening, his second goal (righly) stood.
FW Edinson Cavani, 7 -- Two assists and a goal ruled out by VAR made for a decent night's work, even if he did not get in on the scoring.
FW Angel Di Maria, 6 -- Involved in both of Mbappe's goals, notably the second with a cheeky pass to Cavani, he found a way to be influential without scoring himself.
Substitutes
MF Javier Pastore, N/R -- Sent on for Draxler after 72 minutes, he was involved in Mbappe's match-winning goal.
FW Dani Alves, N/R -- Introduced with a few minutes to go in place of Mbappe, he teed Nkunku up to finish the scoring.
MF Christopher Nkunku, N/R -- Given just over a minute to have some impact, he will be delighted to have had enough time to get on the scoresheet after linking nicely with Alves.
