Tottenham target Malcom confirms Premier League 'dream'

Bordeaux winger Malcom says it's his "dream" to play in the Premier League, but says he won't be upset if a move doesn't materialise.

The 20-year-old Brazilian has been heavily linked to a move this winter, with reports suggesting Tottenham have moved ahead of Arsenal in the race to sign him.

And after Saturday's win over Nantes, Malcom said he is not letting the speculation get in the way of his performance.

"I don't know if I'll stay. I don't know if I'm going to leave. I leave that to my agents, to the club," he said. "If I go, that's good. I'd be grateful to Bordeaux forever. That's life, these are the choices. We'll see.

"If I have to stay, I'll stay. If I have to leave, I'll leave. As long as I'm here, I'll do my job."

Asked about his desire to move to the Premier League, he said: "Yes, it's a dream. It's a dream for all players and for me it's no different. But as long as I'm here, I have to do my job well."

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is a big fan of Malcom, sources told ESPN FC on Friday. The winger could cost up to €40 million up-front with a further €10m in add-ons.
