Man City's Pep Guardiola my most demanding coach ever - Sergio Aguero

Sergio Aguero has described Pep Guardiola as the most demanding coach with whom he has ever worked.

Manchester City striker Aguero, who scored a hat trick in his club's 4-0 Champions League win over Borussia Monchengladbach on Wednesday, told Cadena Cope: "Pep is very different to all the coaches that I've had.

"He speaks a lot, demands a lot. He doesn't allow you to relax, and that is good.

"I just need to do the best I can for the team and do what he asks of me."

City have won all their games under Guardiola so far and are top of the Premier League.

Aguero, serving a three-match ban, sat out the derby win at Manchester United but said he believed the performance against Monchengladbach was even more impressive.

"I think Wednesday's game was our best since Guardiola arrived," he added. "We played really well. We are happy because we are playing how he wants us to play.

"We are adapting to his tactics and we are getting there. I'm happy to work with Guardiola because he treats everyone equally, and that is important."

One player hoping to work under the City coach in the near future is Colombia international Marlos Moreno.

Moreno, 19, joined City on a five-year contract from Atletico Nacional last month and was then sent on a season-long loan to Deportivo La Coruna.

Moreno told Marca: "I haven't had the pleasure to meet Guardiola. But I will have time to speak to him.

"I have to continue to work because I haven't achieved anything yet. I need to keep my feet firmly on the ground."
