1. Toronto FC (+1): Back to the top for the Reds, who saw blood in the water and ruthlessly put Portland away 4-1, on Saturday with a late flurry of goals.
2. New York City FC (+1): Patrick Vieira's road warriors did the job with a 2-0 win in Los Angeles, thanks in large part to the stellar work in goal by Sean Johnson.
3. Chicago Fire (-2): The Fire fall down to third in the rankings after a 3-1 road loss in Columbus, marked by a surprising defensive collapse.
4. Seattle Sounders (+4): Once upon a time, the Sounders were floundering below the playoff line. After a 1-0 win over Sporting, they now sit tied for first in the West.
5. Sporting Kansas City (-1): Sporting's defense held up well enough to limit Seattle to one goal. Too bad the attack didn't deliver in the 1-0 road loss.
6. Atlanta United (-1): Atlanta was on a bye this week, heading into the stretch run and on a quest for the playoffs. Not bad for their first official season.
7. New York Red Bulls (no change): Jesse Marsch's squad rebounded off a derby defeat with a 3-1 win over Orlando at Red Bull Arena.
8. Houston Dynamo (+4): The Dynamo's worst-to-first act is in full swing, with Houston now sharing the West lead after a 3-0 win over San Jose.
9. FC Dallas (-3): FCD's power outage continued in a goalless draw against Colorado, though 28 shots speaks to the team's dominance.
10. Columbus Crew SC (+3): Crew SC took down one of the top teams in the East in pretty comfortable fashion. The 3-1 win over the Fire could be a springboard.
11. Vancouver Whitecaps (-2): The Whitecaps missed out on a chance to jump back into a playoff spot out West, thanks to a 1-0 loss at New England.
12. San Jose Earthquakes (-2): The Quakes played directly into Houston's hands by conceding an early goal in a 3-0 loss on the road.
13. Portland Timbers (-2): It took nearly 70 minutes, but the Timbers were clearly outclassed against Toronto FC in a 4-1 loss in Canada.
14. Real Salt Lake (+3): RSL handled the strangeness of the rain delay in D.C. and benefited from a United error to score a 1-0 win on the road.
15. Montreal Impact (+4): The Impact tacked on two injury time goals that dressed up a 3-0 win in Philadelphia, but all that matters is the three points earned.
16. New England Revolution (+2): The Revs need wins and certainly can't afford to drop points at home. A 1-0 win over the 'Caps at Gillette will do.
17. Philadelphia Union (-3): Beat a top Western team last week, fall to one of the East's also-rans, Montreal, 3-0 in Chester. That's the Union's season in a nutshell.
18. Orlando City SC (-2): The Lions' up-and-down season was down again in a 3-1 loss to the Red Bulls that included an odd sending off for Kaka.
19. LA Galaxy (-4): The home woes continue for L.A. under Sigi Schmid in a 2-0 loss to NYCFC. Whatever ails the Galaxy doesn't look easy to fix.
20. Colorado Rapids (no change): The Rapids played their style of soccer and got a hero's effort from Tim Howard to earn a clean sheet and a point on the road in Dallas.
21. Minnesota United (no change): A week off for the Loons. who could use a chance to regroup and try to salvage something from their season.
22. D.C. United (no change): It took two days, but United still managed to fall at home, 1-0, to RSL despite the reinforcements in the midfield.
