Here are today's top five emerging whispers. And keep an eye on Transfer Talk for all the latest gossip.

Oguzhan Ozyakup to Everton

After signing Cenk Tosun in January, Everton could return to buying from Besiktas in the summer. They have been regularly scouting Besiktas midfielder Ozyakup according to Turkish-Football.com. They have made inquiries for the former Arsenal youth product but nothing has been agreed. The Turkish side are reportedly concerned about the 24-year-old's future, with his contract up at the end of the season. With The Times reporting that the Merseysiders are chasing Jack Wilshere, Ozyakup could be an alternative in midfield should that deal fall through.

Raphael Varane to Manchester United

The Mirror claim Jose Mourinho is considering a summer move for Real Madrid defender Varane. A new centre-back to play alongside Eric Bailly is a priority for the Manchester United boss, with Toby Alderweireld and Samuel Umtiti also on his shortlist. Mourinho previously tried to sign Varane for Chelsea back in 2014 and is clearly a fan of the Frenchman. The La Liga side reportedly want £50 million for the 24-year-old, while United are only willing to spend £40m.

Xherdan Shaqiri to Southampton

Shaqiri will be a Southampton target this summer should they stay up, according to the Daily Star. If Stoke City are relegated, the Swiss winger is almost certain to leave the bet365 Stadium and his former boss Mark Hughes reportedly wants to be front of the queue after playing a role in bringing him to the Premier League in 2015. The 26-year-old would cost around £20m.

Marcos Alonso to Paris Saint-Germain

After his first call-up to the Spain squad, Alonso is a man in demand according to Marca. They claim the Chelsea left wing-back is a Paris Saint-Germain target, and he's also on the radar of two other top Premier League clubs. The 27-year-old was reportedly set to renew his contract at Stamford Bridge, when he received a "super offer" from the Parisians, which has made him consider his future.

Matthijs de Ligt to Barcelona

Ajax's 18-year-old defender De Ligt is being watched by Barcelona scouts. Mundo Deportivo claim the Catalan club are considering making a move for him in the summer, with a defender a priority for Ernesto Valverde. The impending arrival of Arthur means Yerry Mina is likely to leave on a temporary basis as there can only be three non-EU players in the squad and Philippe Coutinho and Paulinho occupy the other two spaces. That would Barcelona them short at the back, which is where Dutchman De Ligt would come in.
