Daniel Sturridge nears exit as Liverpool prep Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang bid

With the January window on the horizon, there's plenty brewing in the transfer market. All the latest deals and potential deals can be found here.

Liverpool ready to sell Sturridge to sign Auba

Liverpool are looking to sell Daniel Sturridge before going after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, reports the Express.

Jurgen Klopp worked with the Gabon international, who has struck 96 goals in all competitions since the start of the 2015-16 season, to great success at Borussia Dortmund; and should they reunite, the Reds could stake a claim to have the most prolific attack in Europe.

The Bundesliga giants might be running out of time to secure a huge profit on their player, after splashing out around €15 million to secure him in 2013, given he will turn 29 next summer.

Meanwhile, AC Milan might emerge as a potential suitor for Sturridge, despite the Rossoneri spending big last summer on strikers Nikola Kalinic and Andre Silva.

Spurs set Rose price tag

Manchester United can sign Danny Rose in January, according to the Star, but only if they meet Tottenham's £45m asking price.

Jose Mourinho is still to settle on a long-term answer to his left-back dilemma, but Rose could emerge as the ideal fit, with the Red Devils likely to at least double his current wage of £65,000 per week.

Rose might prefer a move back to the north, in the same way that Kyle Walker did to switch to Manchester City.

A frosty relationship between the 27-year-old and Mauricio Pochettino has led to the distinct possibility of a move, and the report details how Spurs have already begun the search for potential replacements.

Everton plot N'Zonzi, Deeney swoops for January

Everton are planning to sign Steven N'Zonzi in January, according to the Mirror, as Sam Allardyce plots his first tweaks to his squad.

The Toffees finally have installed Big Sam as Ronald Koeman's replacement, and they began the new era with a 2-0 victory over Huddersfield on Saturday. But with a fear of relegation still present, it appears as if Allardyce will be handed a chunky transfer kitty next month.

Allardyce will look to sign N'Zonzi for around £20m after having previously worked together at Blackburn, while as much as £40m has been set aside to sign a striker -- with sources confirming to ESPN FC that Watford captain Troy Deeney is a main target.

More money could be made available to Allardyce for the likes of West Brom's Jonny Evans after Ashley Williams' poor season and Patrick van Aanholt after bringing out the best in the Dutch full-back at Crystal Palace.

Further options up top could lead the Everton boss to enquire about Jermain Defoe at Bournemouth or another raid on relegation rivals Palace for Christian Benteke.

Tap-ins

- Arsenal could make a January move for Arda Turan, with Sport claiming that the Barcelona outcast was in London negotiating his next move while his team drew 2-2 with Celta Vigo.

The Gunners could offer the Turkish midfielder a fresh start after failing to feature this season, with the 30-year-old a potential short-term replacement for Mesut Ozil.

- Chelsea are willing to hold Thibaut Courtois until 2019, when his contract expires, and lose the Belgium international for nothing, rather than sell him next summer to Real Madrid, claims the Sun.

Contact talks have stalled with the Blues' No. 1, while the 25-year-old has always maintained an affinity with Madrid from his time on loan at Atletico.

- The LA Galaxy are listening to offers for United States international forward Gyasi Zardes, reports Metro and the Los Angeles Times.

Zardes, 26, made a sizable MLS salary of $577,500 in 2017 but provided just two goals and two assists.
