Poland defender Michal Pazdan has earned himself a new nickname ahead of the World Cup after using his dazzling reflexes to save a television reporter from certain doom.
Indeed, "Kung Fu Pazdan" reacted incredibly quickly to avert catastrophe during an interview with Polish broadcasters TVP when journalist Sylwia Dekiert was almost hit by a falling lamp.

After emerging from the ordeal unscathed, Dekiert later offered her thanks to Pazdan on social media.
"The best defender in the country. I have no doubt," the TVP host tweeted.
As for the World Cup, it certainly looks like Poland are in safe hands (or safe feet, to be precise).
