Sunday afternoon saw comparative minnows Desportivo Aves rock Sporting Lisbon to win the first ever Portuguese Cup in their 80-year history.
Whether or not dark magic was responsible for the shock result is unlikely, though it certainly looked as though some form of ancient sorcery was employed before kick-off -- specifically to deliver the match ball to the referee.

Don't ask, because we honestly do not know. Magnets, maybe?
Having only ever played three seasons of top-flight football before, Aves finished 13th in the Primeira Liga this season but nevertheless won the cup with a 2-1 victory over Sporting, who have previously won the competition 16 times.
