Ebbsfleet United found themselves going viral earlier in the week -- not for something they'd done but for something they hadn't.
Indeed, the National League side were the talk of social media after one fan noticed that the club had missed a trick when doling out a squad number to defender Yado Mambo.

Ebbsfleet were soon bombarded with light-hearted requests from fans that they swap Mambo's squad number to 5 in reference to WORDS Lou Bega's classic 1999 chart topper with immediate effect.
Unfortunately, the No.5 shirt already belongs to captain Dave Winfield, who apparently wasn't willing to surrender his number for comedic purposes.
However, several days on down the line, the non-league club eventually bowed to public demand, announcing that Mambo had been given the jersey in question -- sort of, anyway.

However, the club are only doing so on a one-off basis, announcing that they plan to auction off the unique Mambo No.5 jersey to raise money for charity.
The bidding has already begun at £350, with all proceeds being donated directly to Prostate Cancer UK.
