Transfer Rater: Julio Baptista to Bolton, Ross McCormack to Fenerbahce

Things change in the blink of an eye in football. The Football Whispers Index takes the latest transfer rumours and gives them a score out of five; the higher the score, the more realistic and reliable the whisper.

Here are today's top five emerging whispers for the summer. And keep an eye on Transfer Talk for all the latest gossip.

Julio Baptista to Bolton Wanderers

Currently sitting bottom of the Championship, Bolton are in need of inspiration. They could soon find that in Baptista. The former Real Madrid and Arsenal star, who has 47 caps for Brazil, has been without a club since last November, when he left MLS outfit Orlando City. Phil Parkinson confirmed to The Bolton News the 35-year-old was training with the club's under-23s for the time being, but the player has teased the possibility of a deal via social media.

Ross McCormack to Fenerbahce

McCormack's £12million move to Aston Villa last summer has not quite worked out. The Scotsman has scored just three times for the club in all competitions and fallen out with manager Steve Bruce. However, the Daily Mail report Fenerbahce are interested in the striker. The Turkish giants are keen to take the player on loan as cover for Robin van Persie, who suffered an injury on international duty.

Diego Rolan to Deportivo La Coruna

Rolan joined Malaga on a season long loan towards the end of the summer transfer window, but could join Deportivo permanently next year. According to La Voz de Galicia, the Uruguayan forward was unable to join the club in the summer due to the fact they had no space for another non-EU player. However, the 24-year-old will join them when his contract with Bordeaux expires.

Brice Dja Djedje to Bursaspor

With competition for the right-back spot from Daryl Janmaat and Kiko Femenia, Dja Djedje is unlikely to see regular football at Watford at any point in the near future. However, the 26-year-old Ivorian could still leave for Turkish football, where the transfer window does not close until Friday. Bursaspor are one possible destination for the Ivorian, according to Foot Mercato.

Sebastien Bassong to Hull City

According to the Daily Mirror, Hull are considering a move for Bassong in a bid to bolster their defence for a promotion push. Having suffered relegation from the Premier League last season, they are aiming to return at the first time of asking, and the former Tottenham Hotspur centre-back is available on a free transfer. However, they will face competition, with Bassong also a Birmingham target.
