ESL African Championship: Mid-season standings

eSports

The second season of the ESL African Championship has reached the halfway mark, with four weeks being played and only three more to go.

The group stage games for the North and South African teams are running concurrently, and at its conclusion the best two teams from each region will make it through to the final.

South Africa

As we move towards the end of the group stage games, the top spot has been a heated battle between Energy eSports, Bravado Gaming and Big 5 eSports. With 12 points each and stats identical across the board, it will be very interesting to see who pulls ahead.

North Africa

The North Africa portion of the tournament is a bit more one-sided that the Southern competition, with Algeria's Limitless.gg leading the pack with 10 points.

The margin between second placed and third is of such a nature that it is too early to declare an outright winner. With three more weeks to go, it really is anybody's game at this stage.
