DENTON, Texas -- — Chandler Rogers threw for 404 yards and three touchdowns and Noah Rauschenberg kicked a 33-yard field goal as time expired to cap a 20-point fourth quarter for North Texas in a 45-42 win over UAB in both teams' season finale on Saturday.

UAB (4-8, 3-5) tied the game with 2:43 remaining on Lee Beebe's 2-yard run before Ayo Adeyi's 37-yard run helped drive UNT (5-7, 3-5) to the game-winning field goal.

The Blazers led 28-14 at halftime, but UNT scored on six of its seven second-half possessions to eventually win. The offenses, both ranked in the top 25 nationally, combined for 1,149 yards.

Rogers was 30-of-53 passing and was intercepted once. Adeyi rushed for 132 yards with two TDs on 18 carries and Oscar Adaway III added 111 yards on 17 attempts. Ja'Mori Maclin had 118 yards on nine catches and Landon Sides had 100 on six with two TDs.

Three Mean Green players hit milestones that gave UNT a 3,000-yard passer (Rogers), a 1,000-yard rusher (Adeyi) and a 1,000-yard receiver (Maclin) in the same season — the first time that has happened in the program's history.

Jacob Zeno was 16-of-26 passing for 285 yards and two touchdowns for the Blazers. Jermaine Brown Jr. ran for 116 yards on 18 carries with two scores and became the third player in UAB history to reach 3,000 career rushing yards. Beebe also rushed for two scores — including a 66-yarder — and finished with 101 yards on seven carries. Tejhaun Palmer made two catches good for 99 yards, including an 80-yard score.

UNT snapped a five-game losing streak to UAB.
