FINAL: Seton Hall 94, NC State 83. Al Freeman was tremendous for NC State with 36 points, but Seton Hall's senior class + Myles Powell won the day again. Think the Pirates were the best 8-seed in the tournament — they'll really test Kansas, especially if Udoka is limited again.

Jeff Borzello ESPN Staff Writer

Strong effort from Ish Sanogo today for Seton Hall. Had nine first-half points and six second-half rebounds — making some big plays late on the glass.

Jeff Borzello ESPN Staff Writer

The Omer Yurtseven vs. Angel Delgado battle wasn't much of one. Delgado has 13 points, nine boards and four assists — while Yurtseven played just 14 minutes before fouling out with two points and two rebounds.

Jeff Borzello ESPN Staff Writer

Better defensive effort in the second half from NC State — and Seton Hall's outside shots not falling. Al Freeman has been a nightmare for Seton Hall's defense, up to 23 points and six 3-pointers. Khadeen Carrington and Desi Rodriguez quiet for Seton Hall since halftime.

Jeff Borzello ESPN Staff Writer

Seton Hall up 10 on NC State at halftime. NC State had some early success when Ish Sanogo had to come out and guard either Torin Dorn or Al Freeman, but that's about it. Seton Hall doing whatever it wants offensively — and making 3s today.

Jeff Borzello ESPN Staff Writer

Seton Hall ranks No. 212 nationally in 3-pointers per game, makes a little more than seven per game. Pirates are 5-for-6 from behind the arc in the first 12 minutes today. Khadeen Carrington has 13 points already.
