Doc Edwards, ex-Indians manager, dies at 81

Doc Edwards, who spent more than half a century in baseball, has died at the age of 81. He played for the Indians in the 1960s and managed them in the 1980s. Born Howard Rodney Edwards, his nickname came from his time as an Navy medic.
