Southern Miss wins 82-71 against Louisiana-Lafayette
HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- — Andre Curbelo's 23 points helped Southern Miss defeat Louisiana-Lafayette 82-71 on Saturday night.
Curbelo added eight rebounds and three steals for the Golden Eagles (16-13, 9-7 Sun Belt Conference). Austin Crowley scored 18 points and added six rebounds. Victor Hart shot 6 for 11, including 3 for 5 from beyond the arc to finish with 15 points, while adding nine rebounds.
The Ragin' Cajuns (17-12, 9-7) were led in scoring by Joe Charles, who finished with 26 points and seven rebounds. Kobe Julien added 10 points for Louisiana. Themus Fulks also had 10 points and six assists.
