Cannady scores season-high 28; Princeton beats Maine 73-59

BANGOR, Maine -- Devin Cannady scored a season-high 28 points to lead Princeton to a 73-59 victory over Maine on Wednesday night.

Cannady jumped two spots to No. 10 all-time in career scoring (1,294) at Princeton, surpassing Gabe Lewullis (1,277, 1999) and Bud Haabestad (1955, 1,292). He was 7 of 10 from the field and made five 3-pointers.

Richmond Aririguzoh added 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Tigers (3-2). Myles Stephens chipped in with nine points and Ryan Schwieger had eight.

Andrew Fleming and Isaiah White scored 19 points apiece to lead Maine (0-7), with each making eight field goals including three from long range. The rest of the team shot 10 of 28 (35 percent).

Princeton closed the first half on a 12-4 run for a 36-25 halftime advantage. Cannady, Schwieger, and Stephens each made a 3-pointer during the stretch. The Tigers led by as many as 17 points in the second half.
