Elmore has 22 points, 13 assists; Marshall wins 106-70

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- Jon Elmore had 22 points and a career-high 13 assists to tie a Conference USA record for double-doubles and Marshall beat Div. II Concord College 106-70 on Sunday to top 100 points for the second time this season.

It was Elmore's ninth career double-double with points and assists, tying former Marquette guard Travis Diener for the conference's most double-doubles without rebounds.

Ajdin Penava had 17 points, 13 rebounds and six blocks for his fourth double-double of the season. C.J. Burks added 19 points, Darius George had 12, Jarrod West 11 and Jannson Williams 10 for the Thundering Herd (4-2).

Marshall never trailed, leading 55-36 at halftime and hitting the century mark on Christian Thieneman's layup with 3:39 to play. Marshall last scored 100 in its 102-91 win over Tennessee Martin on Nov. 10.

Marshall outrebounded the Mountain Lions 52-39 and made 25 of 32 free throws.

B.J. Hamlet led the Mountain Lions with 17 points and Trey Radcliffe and Darian Peterson added 11 apiece.
